Newbie with a Minolta X-700

I’ve been learning photography for about 8 months from books and YouTube, and I’ve finally started to produce images that I like. These shots are from the third batch of film I have developed in my bedroom closet. I would love some practical feedback so I can keep learning and developing my style :) I’m slowly adding in better equipment, but I don’t have a huge budget for my cool new hobby.

1st three shot on slightly expired lomo lady grey 400 (respooled fomapan I believe) and developed with D96. I think these came out a little underdeveloped, so I increased the contrast in my iphone’s photos app.

2nd four shot on FPP Dracula 64 and developed with D96 (same batch)

Both were taken with a Minolta x-700 using a 50mm lens, scanned using my iPhone 16 and a little single-frame masking contraption that my partner kindly 3D printed for me.
