Recruiters Quotas?

I'm seeing a lot of talk about recruiting targets being hit already for the year. Will this make it more difficult to join or get going with a recruiter next month? I plan on talking to a recruiter in August and getting everything started.

Are bigger people in the military now?

New Army Ht/Wt question...

In 2012 I was very close to joining the National guard at 22 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds. I didn't quite cut it at MEPS for my allowed body fat percentage. They said come back after losing more weight. I then met my wife and decided to stay a civilian.

So fast forward to today and I'm happily married for 14 years with children and looking to join the Army full time. But now I'm 240 pounds/ 40in waist and the current measurements say I'm within the allowance at 24 percent body fat.

I am baffled by this. Are there bigger people in the military now? More so than before? Can anyone give me their opinions or thoughts on this matter please? I'm just trying to make sure I'm going to be alright for real.

Side note, I have lost over 100 pounds this last year to join the Army specifically from 354 pounds high (cushy retail career). I'm committed to doing whatever it takes to see this dream come true. Just thought I'd have to do more first. I have always regretted not joining.

36M looking to join...

I am a 36 year old male husband and father. I am looking to join the Army for a better future for my family. I have specifically taken the last year to lose over 100 pounds of fat and I still have about 30 pounds or less to reach 24 percent body fat. My question is when should I begin to talk to a recruiter? After I'm definitely at target body fat percentage or near or possibly immediately? I don't want to be turned away or told that I'm not fit enough. I'm determined and absolutely going to reach the goal. Any experienced recruiters are welcome to reply. Thank you.

Need help deciding on what to do...

With the green grass areas to the left where the stumps spawn. I want to keep the stumps free to spawn and unhindered. I also want it to be decorative and sensible. I know people put buildings there but it bothers my brain. What suggestions do you have or have you done in this area that's not buildings?

Lost dog...

Posting for family. Contact the number in the photo and ask for Donna if you have any information. My brother lost his dog he lives in a van with. It's the most important thing in his life. He is currently freaking out and contemplating his life. I know it's not that uncommon of a situation. However, this is critical.
