Dzone Rotation Mechanics Overview, week of 6th July 2026

Hello, rain from discord here.
As always, the intention for this post is to serve as an overview on the current Dzone Rotation boss, I will cover their basic mechanics and potential counters to help any players attempting higher alert clears. This guide is for the week of 6th July 2026 Dzone rotation.
special thanks to the team at Mythag University for their effort in making the enemy stat card, link below:
Morimen Boss Compendium: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QYciqHJY3BilDcdvBiIT_dOqXOdqGX-4FBDj5rL6qyA/edit?gid=201451668#gid=201451668

Wave 1: telephone, relic:Lamp
W1 boss is one of the elite version of telephone mob,,he only has 1 health bar with a total of 1079K hp and a relatively simple kit, however, definitely one of the more annoying bosses.

His rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on "Cannot Transfer” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • You will need to go through 2 mob fight at the minimum before you can face the boss.
  • The portal on the right take you to a skippable fight

Battle Note:

  • This boss has a fairly simple gimmick: For every non-command card you play, the boss gain a big shield and some permanent str.
  • Non-command cards are cards like insight, symptoms, derived card like gaunt or pilot, even rouses are counted as non-commanda cards.
  • So for this fight, you don't want to bring teams that use a lot of non-command card
  • Second gimmick is the “Dial-a-Bomb” card that the boss gives you on his non-offensive turn
  • This card basically does damage to you if you play a card of the same cost as it, note that this effect can trigger multiple times as long as the bomb is in your hand, so you want to take note when planning your turns.
  • Good news is the bomb will be gone if you play it.
  • Note that the boss applies 3 turn fragile and weakness, making it pretty much a perma debuff.
  • Avoid using ryker, his dice is considered non-command card

Potential strategy against this guy:
Ghelot:  Ghelot is good into this wave for multiple reasons: low aggression boss allow her to scale, e3 shield break can neutralise boss’s shield, boss only does single hits so DR is very effective. The boss does apply weakness thou, but you can either just ignore it or bring along helot as support to buff strike and remove the weakness
Replay: 16a71d00-82a6-3514-beee-0aeec002db56#E#a

Arachne DPS: Arachne does double Doom to mutant enemy, which the boss is considered one. As Doom application bypass shield, you can just stack doom to execute the entire health bar. Do bring some DR to buy time though, as you probably need 2 or 3 exalt pursuit turn to kill him
Replay: 3413f6d9-4fb2-3193-9b28-ca579f127145#E#a
Replay2(No DR): 3b9b2605-2a0e-35a8-b076-2cf10a895ae0#E#a

Mouchette: Boss only does single hit and relatively low health, making it a relatively straight forward mouchette wave. Just take note when you play non-command cards the boss will get a shield.
Replay: f9120887-4b28-3220-8411-64b8d5a473cc#E#a

You can also do this wave with kath, but you will need tinct to cleanse the debuffs
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 2: Ensure Continuity, relic:Rusty Knife
W2 is a Chain of resentment boss,he has 1 hp bar with 1877K in hp. A high HP pool boss, with an annoying gimmick.

Moveset
Please refer to the attached image “Ensure Continuity" for moveset.

Exploration Notes

  • Minimum you need to fight is 3 mob wave before you can reach the boss, including the elite
  • After you get the key pass the elite, you can go straight back up to top right and use the portal to get to the boss, but you will have to do one more fight. There will be a healing spot and a shop after the portal too.
  • Elite this wave is "transcendent Gaze”, he inflict void to you at the start of battle, but the main thing to note is his turn 4 intention, which make him gain str at the start of every turn there after, so you can't drag the fight on too long

Boss Note:

  • The boss gains one stack of “Chains of Resentment” at the start of each turn, whenever an awakener attacks the boss, the boss will lose a stack of chains and seal that awakener for one turn.
  • When you are sealed, you can't use the awakener’s command card and exalt
  • Note that an awakener can get sealed for multiple turns if you are doing a multihit into multiple chain stacks.
  • The mob he summon will shuffle a dimension lock into your draw pile if you don't kill it on the first turn (Note that he only summon 1 mob in this encounter instead of the usual 2)
  • When Dimension lock is in your hand, you can only exalt one unit on the turn.
  • When the boss is doing his “Dimensional Lock” intension, he will have 3 stacks of chain for the turn, try to play passive this turn to avoid the seals.

Potential Strategy:
Castor Pollux: an easy pick into the exploration wave, very straight forward game play, just pay attention to not accidentally seal your pollux.
Replay: feaa5abf-0650-3c30-bffe-ea9dfab338c7#E#a

Mouchette: Mouchette into this wave is also possible, but you will need to plan around burst turns, having some good relics will also boost consistency.
Replay:0cc211bd-26d3-3760-a07f-2f1d5dd5854a#E#a

There's no real good answer to this wave due to the seal gimmick, the twins is probably your best bet.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 3:Gmurphy, relic Medicine
W3 is another tentacle boss, this time featuring Gmurphy. She has 2 phases with 446K hp in phase 1 and 892K  in phase 2.  She does kinda kill herself with sacrifice, but she has a pseudo DR passive, making her a lot more durable.
Moveset:
Please refer to image “Lemurian Deipara” for moveset.

Exploration note:

  • W3 is direct to boss stage, theres no exploration

Battle note:

  • Gmurphy has a passive called “Divine Realm’s Order”, what this passive does is that,  50% of damage taken by Gmurphy will also be stored as sacrifice, but she will gain a stack of  “Life Seal” if the “Divine Realm’s Order” is completely removed.
  • Gmurphy reset “Divine Realm’s Order” stacks after its removed
  • Life Seal is a pseudo DR passive, Gmurphy removes all stacks of Life seal when receiving lethal damage, and gain back X% of her max hp, where X is the number of life seal stacks. Gmurphy also gains increased tentacle damage from this revive.
  • Her “Aetherial Loop” is a hard hitting multihit attack that also applies birth ritual to you, but it will make Gmurphy always receive crit damage on that turn, making it a great chance to get in damage on her.
  • Birth ritual is a permanent debuff that inflict sacrifice on you depending on the damage you took
  • Once you inflict enough damage on Gmurphy, she kinda just kills herself because of sacrifice, but this is not a boss that you can stall on, the combination of “Birth Ritual” and tentacle Gathering means that Gmurphy’s damage will ramp exponentially, by around turn 7, she will murder you from just the sacrifice damage through birth ritual.
  • Note that on phase change, Gmurphy will start gaining 3 stacks of “Life Seal” at the start of each turn
  • This basically means you will need to kill Gmurphy twice in a single turn, or else she will just keep reviving.

Potential Strategy:
Discard with divine aequor: discard team with some investment can do this wave pretty well, mainly because of corpo racism and multihit to proc DR. You do need the divine aequor white stance to survive Gmurphy’s Multihit though. Pontos, Gmurphy, Vortice are all great picks for Divine realm bonus.
Replay: 0676a1ac-9fc1-3ff1-b13c-b15ccd0cdd2b#E#a

Gdoll Xu: Poison finally playable again in W3, Caro ring Xu is very powerful, shouldn't be too difficult overall.
Replay :dde992db-858c-3d62-9147-ff039a6b1ff8#E#a

You could, of course, also run mouchette into w3. But note that Gmurphy is a tentacle boss, DR is less effective against her. You should be prepared to go through 3 or 4 DR for the clear. Running 3 burial ground is a valid strategy
Replay: 6c118622-f796-3ec8-b74e-bd79c5c12ea4#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 4: Priest of Abyss relic:Easter egg
W4 boss is another seafarer DR boss, with a single hp bar of 1815K hp and 2 DR. But he can gain more DR as the fight progresses. This wave in general thou, is quite weak to counter.
Moveset :
Please refer to the attached image “Priest of Abyss” for moveset

Exploration note:

  • Wave 4 is an elite only wave, the two elites you encounter before the boss are skeletal sentinel and Oceanic memories.
  • They arent particularly difficult, and both have triple hits that can be taken advantage of by counter teams

Battle note:

  • This boss is very weak to counter, but does have a single hard hitting move that also removes 30% of your str (not 20%)
  • He has crit resistance, so multihit is terrible into him
  • On turn 3, he is immune to all debuff (im not really sure why either, its likely due to the turn 2 intention, but the immunity is not mentioned anywhere)
  • The mob he summons will grant him 1 stack of DR and some poison Blade at the start of their turn
  • Poison blade applies poison to you for each unblocked hit
  • His 10 hit attack can be reduced to 3 hit via critting him.

Potential strategy:
Counter: The boss’s moveset includes a 3 hit and a 10 hit, making him extremely weak to counter and str down, a good counter setup should be able to delete his health bar fairly quickly even through the DR. I also recommend having a sub dps for this fight, just to clear the mobs at the back with AOE or pursuit etc, so the boss dont gain too much DR.
Replay(wanda arachne):359fb54b-1cd5-317d-82e4-d942fd686ddb#E#a
Replay (pickman caec): 95ccecfe-6b2e-3c57-96ff-ea3c3b173573#E#a

Vortice : Single Hp bar + Old ember, making vortice pursuit damage very effective into this boss. Fun fact the mobs the boss summon will increase the boss’s max hp, so if you have Vortice E1, she will be doing more damage with pursuit if those mobs lived.
Replay:fd16f668-1545-34cc-bf80-7f9375441fef#E#a

Now, doresain pickman is technically also decent into this wave, due to his Overkill damage and max hp % scaling on the exalt, but the boss does have crit resistance, making this abit more in the grey area. Anyway heres a clear for reference
Replay: 910e8e31-c354-3987-a0bf-87f31c84ee13#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 5: Loyal Hound relic:Hook
W5 is the shadow hound, another annoying boss that has a billion different things that you need to beware of. He has 3 hp bars with 571K hp each.
Moveset:
Please refer to the attached image “Shadow’s Loyal Hound” for moveset

Exploration note:

  • This w5 has a fairly difficult map , you will have to go through 2 fights and a blue puddle back to back before you get any healing.
  • There's no shortcut to the boss, so you will have to go through most of the fights.
  • Take note of the blue mobs that can freeze your cards. Frozen cards can be thawed by exalting the corresponding awakener
  • The elite this wave is Elite Operative, refer to the image for moveset.

Battle note:

  • Mr Doggo over here has a bunch of things that you need to take note of.
  • First of all, he gains permanent counter and cleanse all debuff on himself on turn 2
  • This cleanse includes poison, bleed and arachne’s Doom as well
  • His Hysteric Bite intention will cycle between 3 different variation with each card you play, including non-command cards.
  • The order is : Heavy Blow ->  Heal -> Weaken
  • On first phase change, he gains a new passive called “FInal Evolution”, which grants him 20 permanent fortress and 2 temporary fortress for each instance of damage taken
  • On his second phase change, He does a huge hit that can go upward of 3k,which almost guarantee a DR proc.
  • He also applies 2 stack of Blind and Blight to you, which reduce your crit damage and healing respectively.
  • There are three ways of playing around this boss:
    1. Kill him before his counter become relevant
    1. Use poison team, but play around his cleanse timer
    1. Shield and kill with vortice
  • Agis stun can be used to delay his counter intention or stun the second phase change to avoid tanking a DR.

Potential strategy:

Kill before counter is relevant:For this strategy, your mostly looking at two teams: Ghelot or mouchette. Both team take advantage of aigis stun or Saya corrosion,  and the relative small health pool of each phase to kill the boss quickly. As they say, the best defence is a good offence
Replay(Ghelot): 9791f4b0-1081-3221-8141-a687d8e08e31#E#a
Replay(Mouchette):85aebe91-9685-3cf9-829a-ba2417a1ca06#E#a

Xu poison:  The only reason this works is because this is caro ring week and Xu is racist to humanoids, so you can stack Xu’s spellbound every turn. The idea is that you will play around the cleanse timer, you start applying poison after turn 2 and phase change the boss before he has a chance to cleanse the poison, you should be able to delete his phase 2 and phase 3 health bar fairly quickly if you plan your turns right. Do note that spellbound and poison both will be cleansed if you let him do it.
Replay:871a386d-6ab5-35af-a026-4f9897526cc7#E#a

Vortice with Saya/Castor: This comp is focused on shielding,  Pursuit on corrosion and Vortice to delete either phase 2 or phase 3. When your playing this comp, you are pretty much only dealing with 2 health bars.

Replay:3c8172fe-d86b-3671-af82-d670cebebc69#E#a

Thats all for this week folks, personally i think this rotation's bosses all have very annoying gimmicks, but the difficulty is alright, so good luck on all your clears!

Do let me know if I made any mistakes.

P.S. As a long term player and so called "Time Whale", its becoming harder and harder to use my own clears as examples in these comp recommendations, and I had to spend time searching the leaderboard for suitable examples. Really wish they implement a function to reduce your investment level.

Dzone rotation mechanic overview, week of 22th June 26

Hello, rain from discord here.
As always, the intention for this post is to serve as an overview on the current Dzone Rotation boss, I will cover their basic mechanics and potential counters to help any players attempting higher alert clears. This guide is for the week of 22th June 2026 Dzone rotation.
special thanks to the team at Mythag University for their effort in making the enemy stat card, link below:
Morimen Boss Compendium: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QYciqHJY3BilDcdvBiIT_dOqXOdqGX-4FBDj5rL6qyA/edit?gid=201451668#gid=201451668

Wave 1: Mini Fran (Endless Hunger), relic:Pendant
W1 boss is one of the elite variations of fran, also known as endless hunger,he only has 1 health bar with a total of 2080K hp and 5 DR to start,  but over the course of the battle, he will gain DR, making his effective HP >> 3Mil. The only upside is that he also have 62K old ember, making the hp pool slightly more bearable.
This dude should be at w4, what is he doing in w1? Anyway, a tough fight, be prepared.

His rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on "Endless Hunger” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • You will need to go through 1 mob fight at the minimum before you can face the boss. The mob fight is not that bad, but one of the mob will give DR and poison application to other mobs, be wary.

Battle Note:

  • This boss start off the fight by applying 2 stack of vulnerability to you, causing him to be hitting alot harder.
  • His turn 2 intention will apply 10% of damage dealt as poison, so try to lower his str and apply weakness to him if possible.
  • On turn 4, he has temporary crit resistance and temp counter (from turn 3 intention), so don't do your burst on this turn.
  • On the same turn, he also gain 5 DR, massive str and “Fury” passive. Fortunately,  He can only gain DR once, so the max DR he can have is 10.
  • Pay special attention to Fury, this basically makes him gain temp str everytime he is hit, and this for some reason also counts tentacle hits. So sometimes you think you would survive, but after the end of turn tentacle hit, he suddenly gained a bunch of temp str and killed you.
  • After the boss gain fury, be sure to plan your damage each turn, so you dont accidentally give him too much temp str, especially on his 3 hit turn.
  • The boss also have a passive that apply stagnation to your cards whenever he trigger a DR, but its usually not too big of a concern

Potential strategy against this guy:
Vortice:  Probably the best matchup, just do pursuit every turn and kill him via old ember, though do take note of the tentacle and Fury interaction, your team probably do not want to bring returnal line for this fight.
Replay: 8a25ef55-9075-3985-95fd-2646b5342c67#E#a

Pickman Caecus: If you have a built caecus, you can also do counter into this wave, since the boss has a triple hit. Leigh can be good tech for vulnerability cleanse too. Just take note not to do your burst on the turn boss have counter。
Replay: :eed39ff0-5299-3495-97a7-7c2acb70fe35#E#a

Chaos 24: Chaos 24 damage is pretty nuts after her buffs, the only problem is that she still have terrible survivability. You will need things like lv70 lily and ogier to keep you alive, while having a good keyflare unit to keep up the double posse each turn.
Replay: cba7e401-9ebe-3974-9d8c-c7ce9c983a48#E#a

there arent that many good match up into this boss. Just know that you could also do this wave with invested mouchette, doresain , castor, Gmurphy
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 2: Daffodil, relic:Violin
W2 is Madame Daffodil, she has 2 hp bar with 749K in both phase. Not the hardest boss, but she does hit really hard, and has an interesting gimmick too.

Moveset
Please refer to the attached image “Skull Huntress” for moveset.

Exploration Notes

  • Minimum you need to fight is 1 mob wave before you can reach the boss, making mouchette a very good choice into this wave.
  • Elite this wave is wax couple, one of the more difficult elites, so just try to setup in the first mob fight and go straight into the boss。

Boss Note:

  • Daff's main gimmick is thousand mirage, she gives you a card that lets you pick what kind of intention she will do. And if you don't play the card, all awakeners will lose aliemus at turn end.
  • For majority of the time, simply not playing the card will work out the best for you, but sometimes you may want to preserve your aliemus for an upcoming burst turn, at which point you will need to choose whichever option that affects you the least.
  • In phase 2, you will need to pick 2 additional effects from thousand mirage instead of 1, and discarding the card will additionally shuffle 5 symptom cards into your deck.
  • She also does a big hit that shuffles 1 dimension lock into the draw pile and discard pile, when you have a dimension lock in hand, you can only exalt once per turn, so be careful.
  • Try to make use of the violin relic, draw first before you do your burst

Potential Strategy:
Mouchette: an easy pick for this wave, all daff’s attacks are single hit if you dont choose the +1 hit effect from thousand mirage, so you can easily just death rez and burst with mouchette. Just try not to burn DR on the first mob fight.
Replay: cf4c1c0e-3eae-3ccf-a90f-b0cb4d144b8b#E#a

Discard Saya: as you can reach the boss fairly quickly, discard becomes a viable option. The relic this wave is especially good with discard due to the massive amount of card draw. This clear here is a very low investment lv60e1 corpo lv60 murphy and a E3 saya.
Replay:13ec3e93-89b7-3a49-9fa0-7f0bd96353b9#E#a

Gdoll Xu: Daff’s hp pool is pretty low, you are basically gonna one shot her phase two in one or two turns after you done setup in phase 1. I dont recommend poison w3 this time, so you could try to bring this team into w2 instead.
Replay: 7191e6fe-06c5-3711-b676-6779eae44ac5#E#a

Alternatively, Castor pollux is always a decent choice for W2 due to exploration.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 3:Luminary, relic Arcana record
W3 is a tentacle boss, the luminary. She has a single hp bar of 1120K hp with some old ember. She’s not a difficult boss, but do need you to have some specific setups.
Moveset:
Please refer to image “Luminary” for moveset.

Exploration note:

  • W3 is direct to boss stage, theres no exploration

Battle note:

  • The number 1 thing you need to know is that, the mob she summons will give her DR and POISON APPLICATION on every unblocked hit at the start of each of their turns.
  • The poison works for her tentacles and can quickly get out of hand, so you need to prevent her from summoning those mobs on turn 1at all cost. This can be done by shielding the entire turn 1 intention damage.
  • It's important so i will say it again, if you don't want to suffer in this fight, SHIELD THE ENTIRE TURN 1 DAMAGE! This is also why I don't recommend the classic Gdoll into this wave, because Gdoll team usually cant shield much at turn 1.
  • On turn 2, the boss gains permanent counter, making multihit awakener not that great into him
  • Unfortunately, even if you managed to stop her turn 1 summon, she will still summon mobs on turn 3, but this is much more bearable.
  • She is a tentacle boss, meaning she will gain tentacles every turn, ramping up damage very fast and also making death rez much less valuable.
  • divine aequor with the turn 1 white stance shield can make the fight alot easier.
  • Note that the boss have a damage limitor passive above half health, so you cant one shot the boss with one big hit (like doresain exalt) when shes above half health.

Potential Strategy:
Divine Aequor: regardless its lemurian Gmurphy or vortice comp, or just do any other comp and bring a divine aequor unit, having the big white stance shield turn 1 makes the fight 50% easier.
Replay: a84ad50d-c2da-33ad-8cac-baabf177aa91#E#a

Tank Kath/ tank kath other DPS: If you have the right starting hand, tank kath is able to nullify the turn 1 damage too, the upside of using kath is that her hyperflare can clear the mobs much more effectively compared to divine aequor comps.
Replay (Kath Dps):2779c42e-8492-37e9-a46e-7b88a984fe1b#E#a

Replay(arachne dps): 6451270f-588a-3633-bd9c-6bcbb507864a#E#a

Theres not really any other team i would recommend for this wave, you could try mouchette, but the usually mouchette clear for this wave is ~4 to 5 DR due to tentacles and counters, not the best choice.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 4: Swordsmanship Instructor relic:forgotten blood
W4 boss is the swordsmanship instructor, one of the easier bosses this time. She has a single hp bar of 881K , but has fortress to make herself harder to kill.

Moveset :
Please refer to the attached image “Swordsmanship Instructor” for moveset

Exploration note:

  • Wave 4 is an elite only wave, the two elites you encounter before the boss are Senior agent and captain
  • They are actually fairly difficult, the first elite forces you to have some form of shielding, as his turn 2 intention gains temp str based on unblocked damage, if you dont have good shielding on that turn, he can easily hit up to 2k on the following turn.
  • Captain is the elite version of major, main thing to take note is the cat detective she summons, they will gain +1 hit for each time you hit them, which can make its damage go to pretty insane numbers if your not careful.

Battle note:

  • The boss’s main gimmick is that she will gain fortress based on your missing hp, the lower your health, the more fortress she gains, up to a max of 50%
  • And to make this gimmick more relevant, her turn 1 intention is a piercing attack that does increased damage based on your current hp. More hp = more damage. You cant shield this damage, so your only choice is weakness and str down. This also applies fragile to you.
  • The boss has fragile enhancement, meaning you only get 33% of your usual shield when you are in fragile state. Having a fragile cleanse could be very helpful for this fight.
  • The boss also inflict alot of bleed, so having some healing would help a ton.

Potential strategy:
Vortice: On demand big shield and boss having fortress makes vortice a great pick into this wave if you still have her available. A quick and easy win if you plan your turns.
Replay:a580b929-8062-328e-b392-82fb99539814#E#a

ghelot/mouchette: because of the boss’s low hp pool, ghelot dont need to stall for too long before going in for the kill, the massive healing caro and flail provide also helps to remove the bleeds. Mouchette can do pretty much the same thing, just replace ghelot with mouchette
Replay(ghelot): 1e1007bb-6cd4-3ea1-ae8e-c3198fdd7620#E#a
Replay(mouchette): a8ef5b73-c7ae-3250-a00f-f4b7f4058434#E#a

Gmurphy Lemurian: aequor ring lemurian, technically you dont even need OE on Gmurphy to kill, but OE make it easier. just be sure to set yourself up before reaching the boss.
Replay: 624b5e70-a433-351e-8336-9ea76b858776#E#a

Alternatively, kath is also a possible choice for this wave, but kath team usually dont have much healing, which may be a problem
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 5: Pickman, relic:emerald
W5 is pickman, the painter that will make you explode if you cant read. He has two health bars, with 707K in phase 1 and 1414K in phase 2. This is the boss that can unironically hit you for more than 10k if you are not paying attention.

Moveset:
Please refer to the attached image “The Painter” for moveset

Exploration note:

  • For W5, you can once again head straight for the boss after 1 mob fight if you do choose so.
  • The downward mob wave only leads to a shop, while the upward elite fight opens up more  exploration content.
  • This first mob wave is one of the more difficult ones, due to the DR and cat detectives, and even worse, the cats can apply massive str down to you, making it extra hard to clear them. Shielding and healing until the DR mobs self destruct and only hits the front cat when his not attacking seems to be the best approach if your team cant kill on turn 1 or 2.

Battle note:

  • Pickman‘s kit operates on perception warp (used to be dissolution paint) and dyes, pickman starts the combat with 5 stack of dyes, and gains 1 stack whenever you play a card with perception warp.
  • When pickman use his chromophage attack, he spend all his dyes and gain +1 hit for every stack of dye and apply perception warp to 1 more card in draw pile and discard pile
  • His turn 2 intention will apply vulnerable to you and summon a mob in front of him. This intention will also apply 2 turn of weakness to you in phase 2.
  • His exalt is a single massive hit that usually do upward of 4k damage, but you can lower this damage by playing cards with perception warp.
  • However, playing perception warp will give pickman dye and dye will increase the number of hit of chromaphage, so sometimes it maybe better to tank a DR instead of giving pickman dyes.
  • Pickman ramp up str very quickly, and gains massive amount of str on phase change.
  • You want to make sure pickman do not have any dye/minimum dye when he is phase changing, as he will always lead phase 2 with a chromaphase. So make sure to let pickman do a chromaphage attack in phase 1 first, before you phase change him.
  • The two mobs he summons dont hit very hard, but will apply perception warp to your cards every turn, so you don't want them to live for too long.

Potential strategy:

Gmurphy Lemurian: Lemurian is of course an easy choice, aequor ring allows gmurphy comp to ramp up ridiculous amount of sacrifice and just skip phase 2 completely. Borrowing a whale gmurphy will make quick work of pickman, the easiest answer to the wave
Replay(Gmurphy lemurian): cdf5c42a-f09b-3d5c-8942-2abfb283d5e7#E#a

Exalt dps/caecus with pickman:  Pickman is of course, good into himself, the str steal from chromaphage makes the boss’s chromaphage alot less threatening, and you can even use it to your advantage by playing a counter based comp like caecus pickman, however the massive hit from Truth in Delusion should still be cared for.

Dps with Saya: Saya is a huge boon to most dps in the game due to her corrosion, here is a team that utilise both discard and exalt damage buff of saya, featuring sanga and corpo.

Dzone Mechanics Overview, week of 8th June 26

Hello, rain from discord here.
As always, the intention for this post is to serve as an overview on the current Dzone Rotation boss, I will cover their basic mechanics and potential counters to help any players attempting higher alert clears. This guide is for the week of 8th June 2026 Dzone rotation.
special thanks to the team at Mythag University for their effort in making the enemy stat card, link below:
Morimen Boss Compendium: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QYciqHJY3BilDcdvBiIT_dOqXOdqGX-4FBDj5rL6qyA/edit?gid=201451668#gid=201451668

Wave 1: Seafarer Elite Guard , relic:music box
W1 boss is the seafarer elite,he only has 1 health bar with a total of 992K hp, but has the ability to summon mobs and heal himself, he also hits pretty hard. Not the hardest boss, but definitely need to take caution.

His rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on "Seafarer‘s Elite Guard” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • You will need to go through 2 mob fight at the minimum before you can face the boss. Fortunately the mobs this wave aren't that hard.
  • Taking the downward path lead you to a event and a second shop, while taking the upward path lead you to heal, but you will also need to do one more fight

Battle Note:

  • Boss starts the fight by implanting “Mark of abyss” to 5 cards in your deck, whenever cards with mark is played, all enemies gain temp str. Avoid playing these cards on multihit turn.
  • On turn 2, boss inflict 10 stack of parasite to you, when you have these stacks, you take damage whenever you play a card, but also reduces the hp of the mob summoned at the end of turn. So you want to balance between taking damage via play cards and summon a mob with massive hp pool
  • Note that the boss inflict vulnerable to you on his 4 hit attack, which make you take 1.5x damage afterwards
  • His turn 5 intention grants him stacks of regenerative, which recovers hp = stack at end of turn. You can remove these stacks by making him take damage.
  • It's recommended to plan your burst such that he has minimum regenerative uptime.

Potential strategy against this guy:
Mouchette:  Mob this wave is fairly easy, you should be able to deathless until you reach the boss, at which point a single burst turn would be enough to take the boss down.
Replay: 80c27588-5092-3ada-9446-1c4d0487c840#E#a

Xu poison: poison this tide is in an awkward spot, the usual w3 is terrible for poison this time round. I would recommend bringing poison to W1 or W4 instead. Do note the first mob wave in w1 has 3 enemy that can cleanse poison, so beware if you are bringing poison to w1.
Replay: :e12f266e-d24f-30bb-af2c-86df20b4e22c#E#a

Arachne/counter: Arachne in ultra ring week can function as a solo carry, but you can also play her with counter or poison. Either way, you should be able to handle what w1 gotta throw at you.

Replay(dps): 4a179a67-4aea-362d-9828-baeadfbe5fae#E#a
Replay(counter):64265f88-b9c7-3cb3-a145-76161e994427#E#a

Discard: Most enemies in w1, including the boss, are aequor enemies. Which make corposant discard team relatively viable. With the inclusion of saya, the team can pull off a pretty quick clear.
Replay:64b40957-3475-3ddc-8188-cf4c001bd298#E#a

Alternatively, kath or doresain should also be able to clear fairly well.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 2: Ogier, relic:pipe
W2 is best boi ogier,he has 2 hp bar with 515K in phase 1 and 1031K in phase 2. Though the fight is more about breaking his shields rather than doing damage。
Moveset
Please refer to the attached image “Virtue Knight” for moveset.

Exploration Notes

  • W2 theres no short cut to the boss, you will have to do at least 3 fights before you can reach the boss.
  • The mobs are relatively simple, note that the elite will split into 2 at the end of your turn upon dropping below ~ 50% health, this will cleanse all the debuff he had on himself, including poison.
  • The split path you can choose between a shop and a heal first, they are connected, but you will have to do one additional fight if you want to get both.

Boss Note:

  • Ogier‘s Main gimmick is that he gains massive amount of shield at the start of every turn. But whenever the shield is broken, he will lose 25% max hp, then gain temporary str and fortify.
  • So the intended way of killing him is by breaking his shield and proc the % max health damage, rather than doing actual damage to his health. But you can also kinda cheese this by using corrosion or pierce damage to do damage to his health directly while also benefiting from the shield break.
  • Note that two of his intentions will be enhanced to do more damage if his shield is broken on that turn. You should especially avoid breaking his shield when his intention is “shieldbreaker impact”, as this will change his intention to a 3 hit that does 1k damage each.
  • His “piercing strike” intention has pierce, so it will bypass your shield. You can prevent this by breaking his shield to change his intention.
  • Ogier ramps up str relatively quickly in phase 2, so you want to do all your setup in phase 1 and get rid of phase 2 quickly

Potential Strategy:
Ghelot at E3: E3 ghelot is really good in this wave, but she plays abit differently than usual. You don't need to hoard flails for 1 big burst turn anymore, instead you just use them to heal. Your main damage in this fight comes from ghelot exalt with E3, which applies a shield break effect to the enemy. This shield break last until the end of enemy’s next turn, which means you can break ogier’s shield twice and deal 50% max health damage with 1 ghelot exalt. So now you just need to rinse and repeat that 4 time.
Replay: 3206c0a1-dc45-390f-807f-0fa58b56a122#E#a

Kath: Kath is a relatively simple one, the pipe relic is multiplicative to kath’s E3 scaling, which is a big boost to her damage. All you need to do is pay attention to when you are breaking ogier’s shield, to avoid taking massive amounts of damage unnecessarily.
Replay: 6e5e3080-66fd-3b81-a906-cea1521f510b#E#a

Corrosion stall: Corrosion damage is able to bypass shields, so you can damage ogier normally without needing to break shield or suffer the fority after shield is broken. Saya sanga or just a well built castor should be able to get the job done.
Replay: b941f9f7-08a6-375e-adb5-0950380dacd5#E#a
Replay: 7c240eba-8f75-3f6e-b0c6-439a6b3709f3#E#a

Alternatively, Vortice is also works for this wave, as the fortify gained by ogier can be an upside for vortice, as it buffs her exalt damage further.

Replay: 02ab0daf-4f95-3843-8e4d-b617365307da#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 3: Fatebound, relic injector
W3 this tide might be the most difficult w3 boss we ever had, its the spider elite from arachne’s chapter. He hits unreasonably hard, summon mobs that grant temp str and fortify and also have the berserk/fervor gimmick just for good measure. He has two health bars, each having 537K hp.
Moveset:
Please refer to image “Fatebound” for moveset.

Exploration note:

  • W3 is direct to boss stage, theres no exploration

Battle note:

  • There's three things you need to pay attention to for W3 boss , first is his fervor stack, second is his old ember, lastly is his sabotage
  • This boss gains 2 fervor for every NON-Command card you play, which include embryo, insight, helot’s 0 cost etc. When the stack reaches 10, he will act immediately
  • When the boss’s old ember is depleted, he will switch position with the ally at the back row. This also interacts with his “Fervor cleave” intention, which will be changed to a less damaging attack if his ember is completely depleted this turn, but will also grant him fortify, so try not to burst on this turn.
  • Sabotaged cards will deal massive damage to you when you play them, so careful not to accidentally kill yourself while comboing.
  • The boss also summons two types of spiders, one gives temp str to the boss on card play, while the other gives fortify. Both of these temporary buffs can be dispelled by depleting the old embers on the two spiders.
  • Most team will struggle into this boss, even the usually Gdoll poison becomes alot harder to pull off, and is better off run in w1 or w4

Potential Strategy:
Mouchette: the best answer to this wave by far, just stack DR and kill the boss before he kills you, its recommended to at least have 3 guaranteed DR for this fight, else you will have to do abit of gamble.
Replay:1de47408-9b87-3ff1-9453-29ebe10edd1f#E#a

Gdoll/Xu: this comp is a lot harder to pull off this week, you will need to bring faint for the extra survivability.
Replay: 5726b654-6d8c-3a45-90c3-7030bdf3916e#E#a

Vortice: Vortice is another good answer to the spider. You can proc his embers very consistently via pursuit, and you can take the fortify to your advantage to further boost vortice exalt damage. You do need quite abit of keyflare to do this though.
Replay:2fa8c7a7-d3b5-34b7-ae84-23dd2aac5ee5#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 4: Rampaging skull hunter, relic:neurotoxin
W4 is the headhunter boss from daff’s side story, daff herself also shows up in this fight, though shes not really helping much lets be honest. He has a single hp bar of 1538K, and a very abusable gimmick if you know what your doing.

Moveset :
Please refer to the attached image “Rampaging Skull Hunter” for moveset

Exploration note:

  • Wave 4 is an elite only wave, the two elites you encounter before the boss are hysteria patient and the meme horse.
  • They are not too difficult, and are both extremely weak to multihit. So bring some multihits

Battle note:

  • The boss’s main gimmick is that he will mark an awakener’s cards as hunted, whenever you play cards that are marked as hunted, the boss will gain a stack of his hunter’s mark passive, but also draws you a card.
  • Hunter’s mark grants temp str to all enemies at the start of their turn
  • There are two ways you can handle this:
  • The first way is to avoid using the hunted cards to the best you can until your burst turn, which then you can use the mark to your advantage and draw more cards to refill your hand.
  • The second way is to cheese via goliath’s 1 cost. You can intentionally stack up marks on the boss until your burst turn, then you can steal all of the str away with goli’s 1 cost, and burst down the boss that way.
  • The card daff gives you allow you to swap the position of the boss and the mob he summons for a turn, so that you can kill it to remove half of the hunter’s mark and all of the temp str
  • but in reality, this gimmick is pretty pointless, as killing fast is the name of the game here.

Potential strategy:
Gmurphy lemurian: Gmurphy team with goliath can run the boss down, but you might need to tank 1 or 2 dr while setting up if your lemurians are not invested enough. But you can definitely clear with just E3 Gmurphy,
Replay:a29e637c-dbc1-330f-8508-1736cdaedc54#E#a

Sorel Pickman: Multihit and str steal are both really effective into this wave, an invested sorel can make quick work of all the elites and boss.
Replay: 123247a5-051e-34ba-9666-8c879870ba8a#E#a

Goliath Cheese ft. aurita: The original goliath cheese, featuring discard core and aurita. Unironically, aurita is really good into this wave’s elites due to her multihits, while str steal from goliath makes a fast boss clear possible. (you might need to reset the fight and try to reroll the hunted status on aurita, so that her 0 cost will draw you a card)
Replay: 0c3e9885-55cd-3d56-a837-ee487c3bf961#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 5: Saya’s Flesh(?), relic:wallet
W5 is the newest boss thats introduced in saya’s story stage, and also happens to be the enemy with the most amount of hp we seen in tide (besides blessor). He has 2 phases, with 2128K hp in phase 1 and 3192K in phase 2

Moveset:
Please refer to the attached image “Bizarre Flesh” for moveset

Exploration note:

  • W5 map is pretty straight forward, mobs are mostly caro mobs that apply bleed or mutation to your cards, not too difficult, but having some form of healing will make it a lot more bearable.
  • The elite of this wave is Sophia, she has a bunch of hard hitting multihit attacks and gains a big temporary shield upon losing ⅓ and ⅔ hp. Plan your burst to not waste any damage on the shield
  • On the first split path, the upward path leads to a heal, followed by a mob fight, then into the elite. The rightward path needs to go through a blue puddle, but it take you directly to the elite (and a shop)
  • On the second split path, the downward portal leads to some sigil, a mob fight and a shop. The upwards one way doorway leads to an event that gives relic, a heal and then to the boss.

Battle note:

  • This boss has a sht ton of hp, but on the upside, he also has a lot of old ember. If you manage to proc them every turn, his hp pool is still sort of manageable
  • In phase 1, the boss alternates between the first 2 intentions (but prioritising Forage) to stack up his “hunger” and unleashes a big hit afterwards.  Blocking his hits with shields can delay the big hit “predate” very effectively.
  • It's recommended to apply 2 stacks of vulnerability (or weakness) before the boss switches to his turn 2 intention “Distressed”, so that he will do the healing intention instead, this is to avoid taking massive damage as well as delaying “predate”. But also, don't apply too many stacks of weakness or vulnerability, as it will all be transferred back to you.
  • Based on my clear, it seems like the boss will use “Distressed” on turn 2 and after 2/3 more “Forage” usage.
  • When the boss swap to his big hit “Predate”, try not to retain any important card in hand, so that you don't accidentally exhaust a key card
  • Boss's big hit also applies a big bleed, having some healing capabilities or saving a furnace for after the big hit will help a lot here.
  • The boss also has this gimmick called “adaptation” .  what it does is basically making an awakener’s cards become less effective the more you play them
  • You can partially remove adaptation from an awakener by playing cards from another awakener, but only at half the effectiveness.
  • Ideally you need to alternate between at least 3 awakener to prevent adaptation from going up, but this requires quite a bit of play sequence management, so just try to alternate whenever you can
  • My suggestion is to play a comp that doesn't rely on command cards to deal damage or a comp that naturally require you to alternate between card play sequence

Potential strategy:
Exalt based DPS with pickman/saya:  as adaptation only affects command cards, an exalt based dps would still be able to do full damage, so doresain, sorel, vortice or even an invested sanga can work pretty well. Just make sure you have the survivability to back it up.
Replay(doresain): d941c5e7-3854-3bd2-834a-e17f9ab613a0#E#a
Replay(invested sanga): a3ab0faa-b9a8-336e-b01f-aaebaa5d758e#E#a

Vortice W shielder: Vortice can get full damage out against this boss as her dps mainly come from posse and exalt, her pursuit is also able to proc old ember each turn very consistently. The issue with running vortice into this wave is that the boss has a massive hp pool that vortice exalt cant burst down and playing stall would demand shielding, so having some form of shielding to be used while white stance is down becomes very important. Castor would be top pick here, but if you have other good shielders built, you can use them too.
Replay(with murphy sanga):aa9f0956-f8c0-33cf-8335-b08d023d0372#E#a

Castor Pollux Erica: With this team, you will be alternating between castor cards and pollux cards naturally, so the impact of adaptation is slightly less, and the massive amount shield from castor will be able to slow down “hunger” build up pretty effectively. Would highly recommend bringing erica along, her 0 cost can be used anytime to remove adaptation from both castor and pollux, and even better, with her image, you can play 3 of her cards and get back 2 arith, making her even more effective at removing adaptation stacks. For the last slot, a caro unit is nice here,  to have the furnace for bleed removal.
Replay: 76e59a6d-2d5e-3a75-a6ab-35cdc896f3ca#E#a

On the side note, a shout out to monochaos 24 too, a well built 24 can also make quick work of the boss.(also the camera relic seems pretty op for chaos 24 and Gramona)

Replay: 78bb0121-888f-3222-9230-8e1d85cc3870#E#a

also, arachne's singularity buffs seems to be in the same multiplier as adaptation, so she sort of cancel the debuff by existing in the team. you could consider something like mouchette arachne if that suits your fancy.

Replay: f4277cbf-9c09-3de9-98a4-06192383f1f6#E#a

Thats all for this week, do let me know if i made any mistakes.

best of luck to all your clears!

Dzone mechanics overview, week of May 25 2026.

Hello, rain from discord here.

As always, the intention for this post is to serve as an overview on the current Dzone Rotation boss, I will cover their basic mechanics and potential counters to help any players attempting higher alert clears. This guide is for the week of 25 May 2026 Dzone rotation.

special thanks to the team at Mythag University for their effort in making the enemy stat card, link below:
Morimen Boss Compendium: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QYciqHJY3BilDcdvBiIT_dOqXOdqGX-4FBDj5rL6qyA/edit?gid=201451668#gid=201451668

Wave 1: Lily , relic:tongue
W1 boss this time is lily, a relatively simple awakener boss, she has 459K hp in phase 1 and 689K in phase 2.

Moveset:
Please refer to the attached image on "Blossom of Sludge” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • You can directly go to the boss this time(after you pick up the free relic at the heal tile), so this enables Gdoll and mouchette comp etc

Battle Note:

  • Lily’s phase 1 is pretty simple, with only 2 notable gimmick
  • The first is summoning a pustule in front of herself to tank damage
  • The second being her Eternal Blossom passive, which triggers when she tanks a certain amount of damage. Note that the shield given by this intention needs to be broken before turn end, else she will convert the shield to double the amount of hp.
  • Lily will have a down turn to recover the Eternal Blossom passive after she use it, which means if you can deal enough damage to lily, you can keep her in a defensive loop of eternal blossom into down turn to recover eternal blossom
  • On phase change , lily will start to react to the first command card played each turn.
  • Strike -> lily gain +1 damage instance.
  • Def -> lily gain 10% max hp shield
  • Other command card -> Summon a self-destructing pustule
  • Recommend to play strike or def first each turn based on lily’s intention to avoid unnecessary damage/shield

Potential strategy against this guy:

Mouchette:  As this wave can go to the boss direcly(and also because lily has pretty low hp), it is quite easy for mouchette to one shot both of her phases. All you need to do is to intentionally proc a dr before hand to setup the arith. I made the mistake here in this replay of playing a non-strike/def card in phase 2 which caused lily to summon a mob and i have to gamble a 50% DR, but it was doable with 98% dr if i just played a def card first.
Replay:  f419aa7d-2b4d-3173-8c22-f1a2b3e7058b#E#a

Gdoll/Xu poison: again, the stage is straight to the boss, so Gdoll comp can work pretty well here, just treat it as another w3 boss with higher hp. The key is to stack up enough poison in phase 1 and finish up phase 2 with multiple triggers
Replay: :a7bab387-2557-3929-bc6f-2dcc2983e06d#E#a

This wave is relatively simple, most teams should be viable here. Just adjust accordingly to your box.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 2: Cocoon Elite, relic:Skull
W2 is the Cocoon Elite enemy from Arachne’s Story,  he has a single health bar of 2318K. And ~ 3% max hp old embers. All the elites in Arachne's chapter has the berserk gimmick, similar to Mouchette, making them pretty tough to deal with.

Moveset
Please refer to the attached image “Remnant Omen” for moveset.

This boss changes randomly between 4 intentions, everytime you use an exalt, the boss will change to the another intention and gain one stack of passive. Upon reaching 10 stack of passive,  boss will change intention to a heavy hitting move that won't change on exalt use.

  1. The first intention is a debuff. It applies weakness, vulnerable, fragile, scar and a massive bleed. During this turn, whenever you play a symptom card, the bleed is increased. If the boss changed into this intention on this turn, he also shuffle two random symptoms into your deck.
  2. A 4 hit that gives the boss 1 berserk stack for each hit that is not blocked by shields. If the boss changed into this intention on this turn, he also gains 4 berserk stack immediately.
  3. Deal damage twice, and discard all your hand. If the boss changed into this intention on this turn, he also gives you 2 stack of void and make you lose 15 aliemus immediately
  4. Single big hit that increases damage based on your missing health, lower health = more damage to you. If the boss changed into this intention this turn, he also gains temp str for each command card you play.
  5. The boss only change to this intention if he reaches 10 stacks of his fate passive. The boss immediately gain 50% fortify.  Deal single instance of damage, shuffle 3 random symptoms, gain 5 berserk stacks and all your awakeners lose 20 aliemus.

Exploration Notes

  • There is 1 mob wave and 1 elite fight that you must fight before you can reach the boss
  • The mob enemies this wave includes a very annoying spider enemy that gives all enemies fortify for every card you play. So teams that need to play a lot of cards before dealing damage will have some trouble dealing with these mobs
  • To add salt to the wound, these spiders usually also have the WiFi fish passive, so killing them once is not enough.
  • Though do note if you manage to clear the old embers on the spider, the fortify will disappear too
  • The elite enemy is another spider enemy from Arachne’s chapter,  he operates on two gimmicks, position swapping and berserk stacks.
  • The elite will gain 1 berserk stack for every command card you play and resets the stacks every turn. Upon reaching 10 stacks, the elite will immediately act when you play the next card
  • Upon clearing all the old embers on the elite, he will swap his position to behind the smaller spiders (yes the elite summons those annoying little sh#ts with fortify) and change to a weaker intention.
  • If your playing vortice into this wave,  because sure to do your pursuit first before you play cards.

Boss Note:

  • This boss works on 4 rotating intentions to deal damage and debuff you while build up its fate passive to unleash a combined attack that does everything.
  • The boss also shares the berserk passive that all the other spider elite have, aka he gains 1 berserk stack for each command card you play and act immediately when you play your next card upon reaching 10 stacks.
  • You can time your exalt to switch the boss's intention to something less dangerous, but it will also build towards his passive.
  • Be sure to check the boss’s intention at the start of each turn and after you exalt, due to this boss's interactions between each of his intentions, do avoid doing multiple exalt per turn if you dont need to
  • Do note that his normal intention change each turn also count towards his passive

Potential Strategy:

Vortice: This is your best bet for this wave, vortice pursuit can easily trigger all of the boss's old embers, if you pair her with a good shielder you can easily stall the fight out and win via pursuit into a big exalt.
Replay: b2bad236-45aa-3c15-8540-c4c5f2d97a44#E#a

Castor Pollux: Alternatively, castor pollux comp is always a good option into exploration stage. But do note the boss changes intention when you exalt, so exalting for more shield sometime may backfire.
Replay: 9384588f-0589-3faa-9bf4-0762d51bc9f5#E#a

Counter: Since the boss has a 4 hit attack that occurs pretty often, you can play counter team into this wave, something like pickman caecus works wonders.
Replay: 73913bb7-3d7b-32c8-a355-4e8e393dddba#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 3: Seafarer Elite, relic
W3 is the Seafarer elite that frequently appear in dzone, you should be used to him by now. She has a single hp bar of 684K, fairly manageable, but does hit pretty hard.

Moveset:
Please refer to image “Pohnpei Hymn” for moveset.

Exploration note:

  • W3 is direct to boss stage, theres no exploration

Battle note:

  • W3 boss plays with your hand alot, in fact all 3 of her damaging intention will interact with your hand.
  • Her first intention has a base 10 hit instance, but its reduced by one for each card in your hand at the end of turn, and can be reduced to a minimum of 3 hit.
  • Her 3rd intention gains barrier based on amount of cards  in your hand at end of the turn
  • Her 4th intention discards your whole hand.
  • Due to how her first intention works, she is extremely weak to counter, if you have a wanda, you could even make her do a 20 hit attack.
  • Its recommended to not play units that retain a lot of cards, due to her barrier generation

Potential Strategy:

Counter: as mentioned above, this boss is extremely weak to counter, a decent counter setup like wanda caecus can mess him up pretty badly. Recommend to play together with arachne for the execute effect.
Replay: c8f80f87-9b12-30ea-9361-6f14a92804bf#E#a

Mouchette: As always, when you can get to the boss quickly, mouchette is always the answer. She can burst the boss down pretty well, just take note of the barrier and discard, which may interfere with your gameplan.
Replay:  be535642-56ff-396e-b16b-b26504ccc7e8#E#a

Gdoll/Xu: Classic W3 Gdoll, shes not really affected by the barrier or discard effect, so you only need to pay attention to the multihit. You can also bring along Lotan for more %max health damage or Xu for a safer clear. Xu with a non-Gdoll poison applier should also be able to clear due to caro weak bonus.

Wave 4: afumza, relic:scope
W4 is the freeze gimmick boss from Ghelot story, and also happens to be one of the most annoying enemy in game.  He has 2 health bar, with phase 1 having 524K hp and 1049K hp Phase 2 having

Moveset :

Theres no compendium page for afumza yet, his moveset is as below:

  1. Single hit, freeze the top card in your deck
  2. Double hit, apply 1 turn of weakness. Increase damage based on number of frozen card in your hand
  3. Summon 2 mobs, and give all allies “frost shield”. When a unit has frost shield, if they are hit, they will apply 1 stack of stagnation to a random card in your hand.
  4. Apply 1 stack of fragile. Deal damage 4 times, and deal additional instances of damage based on the number of frozen cards in your hand, then,  exhaust those frozen cards.

Exploration note:

  • Wave 4 is elite only wave, the two elites you encounter before the boss are the dimensional dog and big cat from chapter 3.
  • This wave is friendly towards counter overall, but the first elite is very anti counter
  • The first elite hits extremely hard, and doesn't have any multihits, he also like to seal your exalt, if your counter team can get pass him, you should be good for the rest of the wave.
  • Second elite put counters on herself on turn 1, so multihit unit might have a hard time against her.

Battle note:

  • The key thing to know about this boss is that he has a passive that freeze one card in your hand for every 3 card you play, for some reason this effect is not written on his status bar.
  • Frozen cards have retain, and cannot be played. You can remove the freeze effect by exalting the corresponding awakener.
  • Furthermore, it should be noted the boss's 4th intention will exhaust your frozen cards permanently, so you need to do some exalt management to prevent yourself from running out of cards.
  • The mobs summoned by the boss will either do icicle or curse, the former freeze 1 random card and the later drain 10 aliemus from all awakeners. But if you kill these mobs, you can get 30 aliemus to all awakeners for each one killed.
  • On phase change, afumza gets a new passive: gain frost shield and str at the end of each turn. Because of this, he ramps very fast in phase 2, try to burst him down within one or two turns after phase change.
  • All the moveset of afumza are also buffed in phase two, dealing more damage and debuffs are extended to 3 turns.
  • This boss is very bad for awakeners that need to play all their cards for burst (such as mouchette, tawil) and good for teams that exalt often or don't need to play a lot of cards.

Potential strategy:

Gmurphy lemurian: Gmurphy comp doesn't need to play alot of cards during burst, all you need to do is setup a burst turn by ard turn 3 or 4 and skip the entire phase 2. Borrowing a whale gmurphy is probably the easiest way to do this wave.
Replay:fef0619d-92d6-3009-8361-dff3bbe74087#E#a

Ghelot: Ghelot is technically also not very ideal since her burst requires you to play a lot of cards, but she outputs enough damage to somewhat offset this. Be sure to bring enough survivability for her to ramp a few turns first.
Replay: c4c40cb7-5113-3fd4-8418-83a85bee30b1#E#a

Counter: Counter is again very good into  afumza due to his multihit. The main concern is actually to get pass the first elite, he hits very hard and only does single hit. If you can get past him without DR, you should be good for the run.
Replay: 5b4b86d6-fdd5-3a90-add0-b7fcd78da4ce#E#a

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 5: Thais, relic:tribute
We are graced by the GOAT herself in w5 this time, she is a boss that demands you to have good mob clear ability due to her powerful summons. She has two health bars, with 360K in phase 1 and 1080K in phase 2, relatively low, but she makes up for it in the form of summons and damage reduction.

Moveset:
Please refer to the image “Breath of Fertility” for her moveset

Exploration note:

  • W5 map is pretty straight forward, mobs are mostly caro mobs that apply bleed or mutation to your cards, not very difficult, but having some form of healing will make it a lot more bearable.
  • Elite of this wave main gimmick is his healing at the end of each turn, other than that he does the same thing as the other caro mobs
  • Do note that he has the prayer buff that increases his hit count, this buff can be removed by just hitting him.

Battle note:

  • Thais‘s main gimmick is summoning other caro awakeners to fight for her. She can do so via her sacred blood intention or upon losing a fix amount of health. She can only have at most 2 summons at a time, but she can buff them if there are already 2 existing summons.
  • The 4 caro awakeners she can summon are uhvash, leigh, helot and aigis. Out of the four, leigh is the one you need to pay most attention to.
  • This is because leigh gives all allies a permanent passive that grants shield = half of the damage taken last turn. So its recommended to kill leigh on sight.
  • Thais also likes to drain your aliemus a lot, upon phase transition, she will also nerf your aliemus gain to only 50%  for the rest of the fight. so I would suggest to run caro awakeners for this fight, using image relic to counteract her aliemus drain.
  • Thais also gain counter and apply poison to you,so multihitter like mouchette and pickman might suffer abit.
  • Note that thais gains 50% damage reduction when there are mimic awakeners on the field, this is not considered fortify, so you cant remove it with vortice.
  • This fight demands mob clear, if you cant clear the mobs, they will just slowly snowball out of control and kill you via raw damage and debuffs.

Potential strategy:
Doresain Pickman: With the new doresain rouse buff, he is actually pretty good at dealing with summoners now, the over flow damage can easily clear all the summons while chipping at the boss, you can also choose to land the exalt directly on thais for big damage.  Pickman also gets extra value by stealing str from 3 unit instead of the usual one, just pay attention to thais’s counter.
Replay: 14e3642a-e371-3688-9165-ae8d6e552d5e#E#a
Replay: 35847b1a-e70d-3834-85a3-2330d3d0e348#E#a

Mouchette: Even though the counter damage mess with mouchette somewhat, but thais’s low hp pool means mouchette can burst her down relatively quickly, just play around furnace and devour shield to prevent the counter damage.
Replay:2fbb7963-4698-3485-a968-05ea6082f300#E#a

Xu Poison: thais’s phase 1 is relatively passive, so you can stack poison fairly safely and burst her phase 2 down quickly via triggers. If your using something like liz, you can also time your exalt into the phase change for a lot of free damage.
Replay: cbea2b23-08fc-3767-a7a0-01cc7f7cd047#E#a

Ultra Kath: Kath team can shield thais’s damage fairly well, and the hyperflare aoe gives decent mob clear, though you probably need to play her in ultra with the ultra turn safety net.
Replay: 6dc205a9-2d5e-3000-b648-246396198e36#E#a

Alternatively, you can also do Gmurphy lemurian this wave and skip thais’s phase 2. But getting through the mobs with a low investment lemurian team might be challenging, and w4 deserve the gmurphy beating more than thais.

Thats all folks, good luck with your runs!

Dzone rotation mechanics overview, week of 5/11

Hello, rain from discord here. Overview this week is a bit late as I was traveling, only managed to finish my tide this afternoon.

But as always, the intention for this post is to serve as an overview on the current Dzone Rotation boss, I will cover their basic mechanics and potential counters to help any players attempting higher alert clears. This guide is for the week of 11 May 2026 Dzone rotation.
special thanks to the team at Mythag University for their effort in making the enemy stat card, link below:
Morimen Boss Compendium: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QYciqHJY3BilDcdvBiIT_dOqXOdqGX-4FBDj5rL6qyA/edit?gid=201451668#gid=201451668

Wave 1: Blessor, relic: Butterfly Speciment
Following the previous week shift, W1 has gotten significantly harder, with Blessor on W1. He has 1053K Hp per bar and 3 Hp bars, netting a total of over 3mil Hp. Now the good news is that, blessor has 63K old embers, making his effective hp much lesser than it seems. In case you are wondering, enemy with old embers will basically take 4x damage until its completely removed, and it resets every turn.

Her rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on “Blessor” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • There is only 1 must fight mob wave before the boss, but you will need to go through a blue puddle
  • The mobs are mostly the bug enemies, some of their triple hit intentions can be nullified by critting them.
  • A lot of the enemies(including the boss fight) likes to reduce your crit rate, so having over-capped crit or crit buff would help alot in this wave

Battle Note:

  • Blessor starts the fight by summoning 2 bug mobs that does a reduce crit rate intention, so again, have some form of crit rate buff or overcap your crit
  • Blessor’s main damage move is his Poison spike scatter, this move does reduced damaged based on how much shield you have, so More shield = Less damage taken
  • Note that this move also poison you for 10% of the his damage, so once again More shield = Less poison taken
  • Lastly, poison spike also double triggers your DR, so DR is alot less effective in this fight despite blessor mainly do single hits
  • On depletion of each health bar, blessor will summon a “First Variant” and gain 80% temporary fortify to deter you from continuing your burst
  • “First Variants” will give Blessor a stack of temporary madness (increasing his hit count by 1 for the turn), so avoid killing them on the turn blessor is doing his poison spikes
  • On his “Dormancy” turn, blessor takes double damage, so use this to your advantage.
  • Basically, any unit that can shield consistently on blessor’s poison spike turn can trivialise this boss, but do take note blessor also inflict vulnerability to you, so having a cleanse option is helpful too.
  • Recommended units: Kath, Castor, Salvador
  • remember the relic this wave give you shield on the rouse option too

Potential strategy against this guy:

  • Tank Kath:  Tank kath with feast and will/land to maximise shield generation, maybe bring along horla for more shield and another shielder. You will realise Blessor will not be able to do anything to you with the amount of shield you pump out. Just take note of the vulnerability and temp madness

Replay:  53d1f7a2-e4de-32dc-abad-d8d5bd652c09#E#a

  • Vortice: The reason Vortice is good into this is because a few reasons, for example her pursuit can easily proc all the old embers, divine white stance shield can effectively mitigate most of the poison spike damage, and of course the fact that you can utilise blessor’s temporary fortify to your advantage and Vortice exalt to delete one of his health bar immediately.

Replay: :d7683a8a-49d7-35ce-aaf8-c6a0b8cdb799#E#a

  • Castor (with or without Pollux): Castor has a lot of shields, that's enough of a reason why this works. Bring any of erica/horla/aggripa for even more shields

Replay: 62a221ab-210d-3740-9994-013b40d9b9fe#E#a

You can also do this wave with any hyper invested solo shielder that can dps, for example sanga, erica . Thou this is more dependent on your own account
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 2: Wax Couple, relic:Agate
W2 this time is the Wax couple. But fortunately, it's the weaker version of them, without the broken 10 hit. Mr Lawrence has 1032K hp while the big skirt has 775K hp.
Her rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on “Mr Lawrence” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • There are 3 must fight mob waves, including 1 elite before you can face the boss
  • The elite of this wave is the dimensional hole boss, which will split into 2 when fall below half hp. You can make use of this intention change to mitigate some of his damage while setting up for boss fight
  • Relic this wave is very good for characters that can do alot of multihit, for example mochette and pickman

Battle Note:

  • Ms Large skirt doesn't do too much to you, her damage is mediocre, with the only annoying gimmick being stuffing wax into your deck, which isn't that much of a concern for the boss fight itself, just need to watch out for hand space
  • Mr Lawrance is a downgrade of the gentlemen elite, he only have 3 intentions, the first being a simple 2 hit, but you have to pay a bit of attention for the other 2 intentions
  • His second intention is a buff that give him str and 4 stacks of barrier, but also move him to the front, opening up himself to incoming damage. So having multihit is very important
  • His third intention moves himself to the back, while applying a big bleed to you. Having some form healing can help you with this
  • Due to this fight being a two target fight, having a dps that do aoe damage will be optimal

Potential strategy against this guy:

  • Mouchette: Relic is extremely powerful on mouchette because of how much she multihits. In addition, a level 70 mouchette can also one turn the boss after intentional procing some DR.

Replay: 942256a7-de45-3c7a-9600-65586c7f982c#E#a

  • Pickman + exalt carry: Similar to mouchette, pickman can make use of the relic very well. Combo him with a Exalt-Str scaling dps like sorel or doresain, and you would see some really good damage. Pickman is even better in this case due to there are 2 target for him to str steal.

Replay:1419ca31-d091-3251-8962-059f8880d822#E#a

Alternatively, castor pollux team or even vortice team can also do this wave fairly easily, but they don't utilise the relic as well
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 3: Devouring Howl, relic:Suitcase
W3 is a counter shill wave, bring out your best counter team here, or, be like me and bring out your half ass arachne wanda caecus comp and live life on the edge. The doggo has 737K hp and a single health bar.
Her rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on “Devouring Howl” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • This is wave 3, so its straight to the boss

Battle Note:

  • Doggo doesn't have any complex gimmick, he just hits more and more times as the fight progress, so both counter and str down are very effective. So wanda, Xu etc
  • This wave is made for counter, if you have a built caecus, he can basically solo carry the wave with arachne support. Alternatively, you can also try to do arachne dps with wanda supporting.

Potential strategy against this guy:

  • Arachne Wanda Caec: Can work without wanda if your caec is decently built, and if you have built wanda but not caec, can also consider using nautila. The idea is simple, rouse caec to start building counters. Survive with heals and white stance, build up arachne execute when you can and watch the doggo kill itself

Replay: 099955bd-e501-38fe-8d3c-35258d869ac3#E#a

  • Gdoll Poison/Xu Poison: As always, Gdoll poison or Xu poison work very well into W3, all you need is some survivability in the form of DR or shield. Bring lotan along too if you don't want to use Xu here, for that additional %max health damage.

Replay:dfbc2b64-d9c2-396a-965d-006732d1d133#E#a

Other form of dps like Ghelot or mouchette should work into this wave too, since the boss have quite low max hp. But the multihit does make DR a bit less useful.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave 4: Faros, relic:Rabbit foot
W4 is awakener boss faros. Good news is that her hp is pretty tame with only 657K hp in phase 1 and 985K in phase 2. Bad news is, she is another tentacle boss, so she's gonna murder you with tentacles by like turn 7
Her rotation goes something like this:
Please refer to the attached image on “Primordial Devoutee” for moveset

Exploration Note:

  • The two elite before faros are relatively simple, but they do hit really hard, so just go ham on them

Battle Note:

  • Faros has a bunch of gimmicks, with the main thing being her tentacles. She gains 1 tentacles at the end of each turn, these tentacles slap you every turn, which means she ramps her damage up incredibly fast.
  • Her second gimmick is her deep currents, which apply some stacks of poison to you with each tentacle hit. This is scary on paper, but the thing is, she's already killing you with just the tentacles, the poison on top of the raw tentacle damage is sort of overkill most of the time.
  • Her “Lost City of Lemuria” gives her debuff immunity, so don't do bother applying weakness or vulnerability
  • She has one more gimmick which is called “Faint Candlelight", this debuff give you 15% reduced base damage for each stack. So if you are playing some form of base damage scaling awakener like Ghelot or kath, you don't want to stack this up too high, but if your not playing dps that rely on base damage, it doesnt matter as much.
  • Candlelight is upgraded to “Light of the Lost” upon phase change, which reduces base damage by 30% instead, but as an upside, everytime you deal damage, you reduce poison stack on you by 4.
  • But once again, faros is already killing you with raw tentacle damage, so the poison curing gimmick doesn't really matter most of the time on high difficulty, for lower difficulty thou, it can be helpful to stall out the fight longer.
  • It should also be noted faros’s “Ocean of Eltation” in phase 2 apply vulnerability to you, making the poison even less relavant.

Potential strategy against this guy:

  • Gmurphy: Highly recommended for this wave. Faros phase 2 hits pretty hard, so i would recommend to just skip the entire second phase with Gmurphy lemurian. With aequor image relic this week, even an E3 Gmurphy will be able to do this wave, no OE needed.

Replay: 1c054996-b36e-3c86-80e6-d0f02f2bf08e#E#a

  • Arachne Ghelot: Ghelot can make use of arachne’s buff really well, especially the huge damage amp you get from her exalt. Even though faros reduces the base damage of ghelot, the base damage scaling from her rouse and arachne’s damage amp buff make the damage still very respectable. The retain on all of ghelot’s cards also makes it easier to trigger arachne pursuit.

The key is to not let faros stack second candlelight on you.

Replay: 634c6279-35f8-3259-9cb2-4874dd7e5505#E#a

Mouchette also works for this wave, but tentacle makes DR procing a lot harder to control, will need some precise control.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave 5: Arachne, relic:Spring festival
W5 is the latest chapter awakener boss Arachne. Shes the first awakener boss to bring the ultra space mechanic and is easily the hardest wave this rotation. She has 1016K in phase 1 and 15242K in phase 2. Keyflare and handsize wheel is extremely important for this fight.

Unfortuantely, theres no boss compendium page for arachne yet, so i will just write it down in text

Her rotation goes something like this:

  1. Exalt: gain str,put 2 copies of random command cards into her ultra space and shuffle 2 wounds into your deck.
  2. Eternal Weave: Deal 1 hit of massive damage, apply x stack of vulnerability, where X = number of cards in her ultra space
  3. Infinite Thread: Deal X+1 instance of small damage, where X = number of cards in her ultra space
  4. Fate’s Web: apply 2 stack of void and weakness, heal 10% missing health, put the 2 left most cards in her ultra space on top of your draw pile, then add put 1 copy of random command card into her ultra space
  5. Infinite Thread: Deal X+1 instance of small damage, where X = number of cards in her ultra space

Phase Change: put 2 copies of random command cards into her ultra space and whenever a card leaves her ultra space, apply sabotage to it(Deal damage to you when you play it). Now her exalt intention copy 3 card instead, and shuffle 3 mutations instead of wound.

Her phase 2 rotation is mostly same as phase 1

Exploration Note:

  • There are only 2 must fight mob waves before the boss, and its recommended to go to the boss directly after that to avoid the more annoying mob fights.

Battle Note:

  • Arachne gimmick is very complicated if you want to read the whole thing, but it can be simplified as such:
  • The first card played each turn enters Arachne’s ultra space.
  • Each card in her ultra space reduces your handsize by 1 and buff all her intentions. Thus handsize wheel is very important for this fight
  • When her ultra space is filled completely and you play a card, she act immediately, then changes her intention to her exalt
  • You can posse to remove a card from the ultra space and place it on top of your deck
  • The core idea of this fight is to just posse as much as possible to avoid arachne from filling her ultra space, so having alot of keyflare to spam posse is very helpful
  • Alternatively, you can try to kill her before her gimmick becomes relavent

Potential strategy against this guy:

  • Vortice: Vortice team already want to spam posse alot, which plays into the arachne gimmick pretty well. But you do need to pay attention to which card you are putting into her ultra space to avoid bricking your draws.

Replay: af0b3996-f272-36f9-8bf4-a72e3f20e956#E#a

  • Mouchette: Borrow a whale mouchette, and just go ham on arachne, kill her before her gimmick becomes relavant. Watch how angbak does this will a whaled mouchette, a keyflare bot and 2 units with no wheels.

Replay: eeced0aa-0189-3da9-8075-a2d4843e2945#E#a

Alternatively, you can also do Gmurphy lemurian this wave. Invested Gmurphy lemurian with image relic trivialise every boss this week, so you can plan accordingly.

That's all for this week, have fun doing tides! Do let me know if there are any mistake
