Ball recommendations?
Rev-dominant lower speed player looking for Brunswick-family asym recommendations
I’m rev dominant with lower speed and I’ve realized I match up way better with smoother Brunswick-family stuff than a lot of Storm/Motiv equipment.
Balls I really like:
- Brunswick Defender
- Track Archetype (solid)
The Defender is probably my favorite right now because it’s super controllable and I can play basically any angle with it. The Archetype is also really good for me because it’s strong but still smooth and continuous.
A ball I struggle with:
- Motiv Hyper Venom
The Hyper Venom hooks really hard for me as soon as it sees friction and can get really over/under and go Brooklyn if I miss right.
I’m looking for asym balls that are:
- clean through the fronts
- strong but controllable
- continuous instead of super skid/flip
- good for rev dominant players who don’t want violent backend motion
I’ve been considering:
- Hammer Full Effect
- Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl
- Hammer Effect Tour
- maybe some DV8 stuff too
For people with similar speed/rev matchups, what Brunswick-family asyms have worked best for you?
