She is a dragon species I made up called Mimics. Some dragons think they are the weakest species while some (who are correct) fear them. Due to their entire bodies being covered in feathers they can make it look like they have different body shapes/features. The more scary abilities are their abilities to change size (size of a rabbit to size of a shire horse), change color and mimic all sounds (especially animal/dragon sounds). There is the rare ability to mimic dragon blasts but only 1 in 1,000 mimic dragons can do that.

Due to their ever changing color very few actually know their true colors, above are Lyra’s true colors. They gain their abilities after about a month of hatching, some keep their colors from hatching while some, like Lyra, choose their own. Their tails rarely hold any venom but if it does it is very weak and used only for hunting. Of course getting stabbed with it still hurts so avoid it if you ever encounter one. Said tail is partially prehensile used to help hang on trees and strengthen their grip when climbing.

These dragons are elusive, unpredictable, and distrusting so if you are near one always have caution. They are crepuscular (active at dawn and dusk), live in groups of 3-8 and are aggressively loyal to those in their flocks. They are also carnivores and are known to scavenge being ok to eat most prey. They have dolating eyes similar to cats and they hunt mostly on the ground more like cats and less like birds/bats.

Edit/add on : they will often be hidden whether in plain sight (pretending to be other dragons, birds, or other animals) or by hiding in the shadows and all the nooks and crannies they can fit in. It is believed they stay hidden do to their near extinction. Other dragons thought them to be to dangerous to tried to kill off as many as possible. Their population went from 5 million to less than 100,000

I bought a wooden letter E from amazon and used acrylic paint for the designs. The music part is the first section to one of our bella voce songs (select singing group at school). Do you think she will like it?

All of these dragons share the same name and behaviors as their animal counterpart. For now I will use a random generator to get animals but if there is an animal you want to see described just comment it.

Appearance - are covered in fur so thick it becomes a form of natural protection. Gray coloring in ranges of shades. Small body sides built for moving in burrows and tunnels underground. Have short feathered wings built for moving through their tunnels
Abilities - hold dust in their fur that they can add a poison to. The poison can be spread out like a mini dust storm when the chinchilla shakes causing nearby creatures to be harmed or even die. One of the best hearing of all dragon species
Habitat - Deserts or other dry climates and habitats
Main diet - seeds and grass
Egg description - grey and brown coloring to match the rocky and sandy surface of their homes with thick shells to protect the egg in case a rock falls into the nest
Egg clutch size - 3-8
Nest - use hay and/or dry grass to make their nests to hold their eggs
When they are active - crepsecular (dawn and dusk)
Social structure (pack vs solitary) - live in colonies

It is inspired by wings of fire but kingdoms, tribes, and history is all different. I am working on a prophecy and my writing makes me look crazy. Please help.

When I went in I said to myself “no unnecessary purchases.” But then I saw it, the best thing ever. I named her nyx after my favorite greek goddess. She comes either a total of four magnets, two on her and two on her stand. Its both so she can stand with the stand when your not wearing her but also so you can wear her. You slide the stand and its magnets under the shoulder of your shirt and pop her on top. Totally don’t regret this purchase

Name - Luna Borealis

Tribe - Wildwing

Personality - she is hesitant towards new dragons almost aggressively but once she get to know someone she will be loyal and do anything for them. She enjoys swimming but hates deep oceans, she loves flying and gliding but doesn’t like being up to high. She hates the cold (ironic considering her Icewing ancestors). Her curious nature is her strongest personality trait.

Origin (possible canon) - hatched on the forgotten isles and grew up, she loved exploring the island and she often ran into the barrier so much so theres almost always a sharpwing following her. She never liked Beryl and Snakeroot and was glad when they were taken down. Unlike most Luna disliked Mulberry for the reason of she was very jealous of him being able to explore more than her.

Origin (fan theory) - once the eggs returned, now hatched and old enough, they freed everyone from the island. Luna has no hesitation and flew off. She had been watching from where they came from and knew around where the main continent would be so she wasn’t to worried about being lost at sea. Once she reached the continent she mostly survived on her own for a while traveling the continents for exploration but ended up settling down in the poison jungle where she felt the most at home.

Abilities : long prehensile tail, serrated claws, able to change her scale color (other than her underwing, spines, and lower legs, the parts with star like patterns), eyes dilate on command, protective membrane, able to create silk but it is few and far between, gains engery from the sun, and has a venom in her teeth like nightwings.

Day 2 of doing a venomwing everyday for pride month. Last post I said I would do some twice a week but I wanna try doing them everyday. Share your flag, sexuality, and/or gender below and maybe it will be one of the days.

After making my one oc, Luna, I wanted to make more. The brown and purple one is Luna, the white and blue one is Aurora, the brown and red one is Autumn, and the grey and green one is Raven. Also added to the end the facts in case you didn’t see my first post. So what do you think?

This is a dragon species I had come up with

So I use apple music and I wanted to create a playlist that gives the most dragon like vibe. Below the songs I already have and I would recommend for other dragon lovers. Any song ideas/recommendations for dragony songs? If there is a dragon song around forests/venoms/poisons that would be great since they are my favorite kind of dragons.
