Getting botox for the first time next week! Kinda nervous🫣
Me if I wasn't buying korean skincare every other week...
Let's play a little game! Kiss, marry, kill but skincare edition!
I'm a bit bored rn, so I suggest we play a little game together heheheeee. Ok so, kiss/marry/kill in your skincare routine.
Options: sheet masks, sleeping masks, toner pads.
What's you fav facial treatment that's not too expensive?
Is there any product you always forget to apply? I'll have to confess... mine is SPF
What are the best Korean anti-age products?? I wanna get some for my mom's birthday!
reddit.comWhat's the most expensive skincare you own? Is it worth it?
Girlypops of Reddit, are your men also into skincare? If no, why?
I've noticed recently that a lot of guys have started actually taking care of their skin properly and i think it's genuinely great! But iI still see people saying it's not "manly" enough...
What are your thoughts on this? and does your bf actually have a skincare routine or is he still just using whatever soap is in the shower and calling it a day
Okaaaaay so some of you might remember me posting a few weeks ago completely desperate about my damaged color treated hair not knowing what to do with it. Someone in the comments mentioned Kundal products and I decided to just buy it in Korea since I’m already going lol.
Well I went to Seoul last week and obviously the first thing i did after landing was find the nearest Olive Young😭, which if you haven't been is basically the most dangerous store in existence for anyone who likes beauty products. I found the Kundal collagen night repair line almost immediately and grabbed the conditioner and the hair treatment, shampoo was sold out:(….
I've only used it a few times so this is very much a first impression rather than a long term review. Tbh the smell is so goooood guyyyys. It genuinely gives a salon smell (you know what I mean) or a luxirious spa idk how to describe it. It's warm, clean and lingers in your hair for hours.
The conditioner felt pretty nourishing without being heavy or greasy which somehow even expensive conditioners manage to get wrong. Hair felt moisturized and soft afterwards without that weird coating feeling. 8/10
The night repair hair lotion is the one i want to talk about the most because i was genuinely not expecting much from it.
So the idea behind it is that you apply it before bed and it basically reduces friction while you sleep so your hair isn't getting roughed up against the pillow all night. I'll be honest, i was a little skeptical because it sounds almost too simple? like putting lotion on your hair before sleep and waking up with better hair seems like a biiiit of a stretch.
Now imagine my face when I woke up the next morning and my hair was smooth and less tangled than usual. Normally my hair is a complete disaster in the morning, frizzy and knotted and just generally unhappy. This time it looked like it had actually rested. Finally
The texture of the lotion itself is really lightweight too which I appreciated because I was worried it would feel heavy or greasy on my hair overnight but it genuinely doesn't! 10/10
Too early for long term conclusions but as a first impression i'm really genuinely impressed, especially by something that works while you literally do nothing but sleep. I need to find it in USA as well, that’s my new beauty mission for now!!
For me it's just cleansing oil, cleansing foam and moisturizer. Sometimes i'll throw in toner pads if I'm feeling fancy but that's genuinely it...:) I'm gonna be honest, I have never understood the 12 step routine thing, my skin has never looked better since I simplified everything and stopped throwing 47 products at it. Damn, less really is more and I'm not falling for this marketing again! (well… maybe for another beauty trend yes)
