Best story in Ubisoft games

For me AC Valhalla no 1. They create something akin to Viking Sagas with great modern twists.

Also The Division 1 with The New York Collapse book is pretty great interactive experience. The Division series as a whole so good and have insane worldbuilding details with greatest visuals in gaming history. But story is so weak. But with this book first game really shine, now have depth and mysteries and this is great for interactive experience.

Ubisoft games are underrated

Yeah people hatecirclejerk of Ubisoft all the time, but their games so awesome to play. From gameplay standpoint all of them top notch. The Division 2 "the best" TPS combat in gaming history and attention to details is astonishing, WD2-Legion best sandbox gameplay ever in GTA style games and honestly they are much better than all Gta's and not even close. Play like Deus Ex style imsim, only game come close to this Cyberpunk 2077 but Watch Dogs games are 100x more fun and worldbuilding/open world details are much better. NPC interaction and open world details are so much better than Rockstar Games.

And personally i love The Division 1 and Watch Dogs 1 more. Not gameplay standpoint; gameplay is kinda trash compare to TD2-WD2-Wd Legion but dark atmosphere, ambiance, story, multiplayer are more work for me.

Another masterpiece is AC Valhalla. People complain a lot game too long. But game structured like Viking Sagas with procedural TV episode type narrative. That kinda games absolutely needs to be too long. This is not bloat at all, Skill Up type reviewers don't understand these design choices and call this games bloated. And after that praise games like Horizon Forbidden West, Crimson Desert etc. I don't know what they are smoking, if you really think Horizon-Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei, Crimson Desert type games better than AC Origins-Odyssey-Valhalla, you should not talk about games, your opinions are not matter. Worldbuilding, story, characters, side quests, main quests, musics etc are another level in AC RPG games. Origins have some of the best historical setting, Odyssey have Odyssey type real adventure/mythology feel and Valhalla have epic saga feel with great atmosphere and some of the best writing in gaming history.

Ubisoft always makes great games, yeah not all of their games AC Valhalla, Anno 1800, The Division 2, Watch Dogs 2 type S tier good but they are all just joy to play; Riders Republic, Far Cry series, Pop The lost crown-Rayman games, The Crew series, Mario Rabbids, Trials series, Ghost Recon Wildlands , Fenyx Rising etc. They are all good.

And i wanna talk about the dlcs. They absolutely made best dlcs of all time. People always lick CD Projekt Red dlcs because how not cash grab and better than main game but story oriented Ubisoft dlcs i think they are also not cash grab, they are all so good almost better than main game;

Dawn Of Ragnarok, Siege of Paris, Jack the Ripper, Avatar From The Ashes, Wd Legion Bloodline, The Division New York dlcs, Mario Rabids Donkey Kong Dlc etc.

TL;DR I actually think Ubisoft makes the best open world games after Rockstar, much better than Sony-Bethesda-Cd Project Red etc. But Rockstar don't make games anymore. Only 2 games in 15 year span is big no no for me. Because I play games a lot. And i placed Ubisoft no 1 because of this. They always deliver something good. Every year. Yeah last years they are struggling making new games because financial issues but with some really good dlcs and free content updates The Division 2, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, AC Mirage, The Crew Motorfest they are still trying deliver something goods. And i appreciate this a lot.
