My skin Jan 2026 to May 2026. Legit reviews of overhyped products

My scars were stubborn! Some of them even from 2024! I had tried everything and finally I see some improvement 🥺❤️ I just wanna share everything with yall

The biggest mark on the left side I got from chemical burn from a toothpaste trying to attempt a hack from 5 mins craft to get rid of pimples 2 years ago. Others are from picking those pimples.

I tried lot of 'viral' stuff. Heres what helped and didnt help

Niacinamide-❌️ helped with pigmentation around my mouth but not scars

Alpha arbutin❌️ Didnt work honestly for me

Retinol❌️ IDK WHY RETINOL DIDNT WORK

Cleansers:

Tried out a bunch of cleansers

Worked Worst for me:

Cetaphil (left my skin extremely oily and skin felt dirty)

Worked best for me:

La Roche Posay Effaclar Cleanser

(Skin felt really clean without feeling too dry)

Moisturizer:

Honestly can't get my hands on good ones. Pls reccomend some. I use bioderma one and my skin feels dull after application so I usualy skip it ngl

Sunscreen:

CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH BUT UV DOUX DIDNT WORK FOR ME. MY SKIN TANNED HELLA LOT WHEN I USED IT. SPOTS BECAME DARKER TOO. I HATE IT.

I now use La roche posay uvmune sunscreen which hurts my wallet but I cant find a good sunscreen within my budget any where for god's sake. Its quite greasy too so skipping moisturizer doesnt hurt

Here comes the products THAT ACTUALLY HELPEDDD

Azeliac acid 15% 🥈

Hydroquinone🥇

WARNING:THESE TWO SHOULDNT BE USED WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION. HYDROQUINONE CAN LEAD TO PERMANENT DAMAGE ASK UR DOCTOR FIRST.

I used azeliac acid before I got a new dermat who put me on hydroquinone I LOVE IT. May is the last month before my hydroquinone break starts and I'm absolutely loving the results. AND ID LIKE TO THANK IT FOR SAVING MY SKIN. Peace out
