ADT is testing my patience.

I don’t know where to begin.
I have genuinely never experienced anything like this. I have called ADT 8 times the past 6 weeks.
It’s maddening.
My family moved out of a rental a month ago. The rental had an existing ADT system in place and back then I signed up for a monitoring account with ADT control to activate that system. Unfortunately I didn’t realize I signed a 36 month contract so when l we moved I called to cancel but found out we still had a year left on the contract. The account/relocation specialist told me that they couldn’t cancel the account but the best they could do was downgrade to ADT Blu for the next year left on the contract but that we didn’t need to activate the new system. (We have an alarm system in place at our new home that is not ADT) he explained it was just a protocol and that my old account for my rental would deactivate in a couple of weeks and in a year, my ADT blu contract would be up.
While the process took over an hour and a half I thought I had found a reasonable solution paying $20 a month for the next month was better than $70.
The ADT blu system arrived and we left it in the box but then I noticed that my old ADT system from my old house was still active and that my account hadn’t yet been switched off and I was still being charged for it.
I call ADT again and they told me my old account would not be shut off until I set up ADT blu, completely contradicting what the relocation specialist told me.
I tried to set up ADT blu; and hit another block, it would not recognize my email address (the one used for ADT control) I attempted to login and then tried to set up a new account with the same email and it wouldn’t work.
Hence I couldn’t set up the new system to get the old system disconnected. Maddening. More phone calls, I spoke to six different people from ADT and was on the phone for 2 hours and had a virtual technician screen share my phone and trouble shoot only for them to realize that you can’t use the same email address for ADT Control and ADT blu they need to be completely separate emails in order to start an account and it will not let me sync a new system with the same email.
We finally get my ADT blu account up and running and then I get transferred to account services to ensure that the old account with ADT control is deactivated like it should have been in July and then speak to another 3 people because they now don’t have any record of me relocating in the first place. I’m not joking I genuinely almost cried. I have spent hours, days and weeks trying to resolve this problem.
Can someone tell me how I cancel my account completely? I don’t care if I have to pay the full amount. How can I ensure I never have to deal with ADT again?

I can’t afford my therapist, but she wants me to twice weekly sessions. What to do?

I have an incredible therapist in a large city. She has helped me tremendously the past few years to overcome some serious childhood related trauma and crippling anxiety. She’s got a lot of clinical experience and came highly recommended by a couple of friends.
I really enjoy working with her.
My only issue is that she is incredibly expensive ($400 a session not covered by insurance)
Our sessions are virtual and I am expected to do twice weekly sessions. This year has been an incredibly difficult year for me financially. I have expressed to her that I cannot afford to see her at that frequency anymore and can I afford only twice monthly but she is strongly urging me to reconsider. In general what is the standard when a patient wants to reduce the frequency of therapy for financial reasons and what is the healthiest way to bring this up?
