This was a fun exercise in trying to modernize an ancient writing system. First, I adapted Ancient South Arabian for writing English, and turned it from an abjad into an alphabet, with each glyph representing one of the sounds of English. I had to add some glyphs not in the original, but I tried to stay within the aesthetic of the original. The blue letters are the ones I added.
Then I created lowercase versions of all the letters, with the original ancient South Arabian glyphs (and my additions) becoming the capital letters.
The sample text is article 1 of the UDHR in English.
