1. Pharaoh vs. Moses — Pharaoh tried to suppress Moses and his message, but Pharaoh and his army were ultimately destroyed while Moses and the believers were saved. Qur’an 10:90–92, 28:40.
2. The people who plotted against Jesus — They planned against Jesus, but Allah says: “They plotted, and Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.” Qur’an 3:54.
3. The Quraysh plotting against Muhammad ﷺ — They planned to imprison, kill, or expel him, but Allah protected him and their plan failed. Qur’an 8:30.
4. The people of Prophet Ṣāliḥ — Nine men plotted secretly to kill Ṣāliḥ and his family, but Allah destroyed the plotters. Qur’an 27:48–51.
5. The people of the trench / those persecuting believers — Those who persecuted the believers were ultimately condemned, while the faith they tried to extinguish remained. Qur’an 85:4–10.

The theory of evolution as proposed by Charles Darwin in the 19th century, is one of the most unbelievable and irrational claims in history. Despite this, over its 150-year history the people who have accepted it have failed to produce any scientific evidence, supporting the theory. The theory puts forth the irrational claim that all living organisms, plants, animals and human beings are the result of blind, unconscious, accidental events. Evolutionists believe that millions of years ago, in the primal soup of the oceans or pools of water, mindless atoms with no knowledge, powers of reason came together in certain proportions and later, by chance, formed the proteins and cells that even today's scientists with most advanced laboratory technology have not been able to duplicate. They go so far as to say that these cells, in their turn—and again by sheer chance—formed starfish, sparrows, hawks, penguins, cats, lambs, lions, apples, apricots, pomegranates, figs and even human beings. If human efforts cannot produce any living thing by using the whole pool of human knowledge, how can life be brought into being with the aid of unconscious atoms and chance events? Any intelligent human being of conscience can certainly understand that all living things including himself cannot be the result of chance events. Every intelligent, unprejudiced person with a conscious knows that Allah has created all these living things with His incomparable power.

Unlike other religions that can be challenged because of idolatry, Islam must be challenged through science and history. There are no scientific or historical errors in the Quran that cannot be explained or argued to be the result of mistranslation, so it cannot be conclusively disproven on those grounds. The fact that it has not been disproven, in this view, gives it a higher likelihood of being true.

I can interpret it as
So God created man in his own image(full grown man not a baby), in the image of God(God's mind) created he him; male and female created he them.

Contemporary English version
So God created humans to be like himself; he made men and women.

I converted to islam and my grandparents are very old and sinful of shirk and ribba. They reject the message of islam because they are unknowledgable in science and their greed for risk free high interest savings. My knowledge that they may end up in hell haunt me.
