Is there a fix for these problems ive encountered in Left 4 Dead 1?
In the beginning of No Mercy, the helicopter that flies above search light is completely black and looks odd.
second, during explosive set pieces there are these odd black grayish particles that flash with the fire,
is there a way to fix them?

on the contrary, in Left 4 Dead 2 many of the L4D maps are really dark, is there a fix for this too?

and last thing, is there a way to map buttons for xbox controller on steam. i notice on L4D1 i cannot map any buttons on my controller, its just in this static screen showing the controller and the buttons but no way of mapping them to specific stuff.
