My husband was messaging a flower shop for Mother’s Day while we were sitting beside each other. I accidentally glanced over and asked, “Ano yan?” not even knowing what the chat was about yet.

He immediately said, “Eh alam mo na! Magpapadala ako ng flowers.” Then apparently he cancelled the order after that.

So ayun. No flowers for Mother’s Day.

Now I don’t know if I should feel guilty for “ruining the surprise” or sad because… he still could’ve gone through with it anyway?
