Thought using the Ranch as FFL would be faster…

I ordered a CPO last Wednesday and figured I’d save myself some time and the transfer fee by using the Ranch as my FFL since I’m already a member. Seemed like the easiest route.

I called Friday and was told I’d get an email when it “shipped” to the Ranch, then the Pro Shop would call me when it was ready for pickup.

Got the shipped email Monday… still no call from the Ranch.

Kind of funny considering it’s literally across the parking lot. I know the Pro Shop is closed certain days, but I’ve been to the Ranch a bunch and have never exactly seen a line of people picking up pistols. Starting to think I should’ve just shipped it to my local shop and paid the $25 transfer fee.

Anyone here have experience with CPO shipping times or pickup directly through the Ranch?

Installed a Stainless Grip Module from Lonestar this weekend. Got everything working, blended, etc. then it came to mag insertion. Had to file mag catch and inside of grip module as some mags wouldn’t insert fully without getting stuck. After I got all that worked out, I can now insert all mags, but for some reason when loading brass dummy rounds the first round strips but it pulls the second round forward as well. Load first round cycle slide with speed, second round pulls forward to wear the nose is outside of the mag tube. I can cycle all 20 rounds in the magazine and it runs fine, but if I stop and eject the mag it will pull the first round in the mag from the front of the tube and drop it. I feel like the grip angle is off, but not sure how. The trigger screw hole took a little filing to get line up, but I’m talking thousandths. I had to file a few more thousandths from the backstrap area and obviously blend the beavertail. This is on a Watchtower Demolitia, previously with an MJD grip module with no issues. I can possibly bring the grip module up a little more in the back, maybe .02”, but then I’d have to grind on the grip screw bushings to get them to fit, which I heard you shouldn’t have to do. All mags tried are in spec. Please help. This isn’t the first grip module I’ve installed, but it is the first stainless. Thanks in advance!!!!
