Got the 29 gallon set up for my two big guys, thank you for everyone’s advice!
I still need to get a few things (those mainly being a lid and a larger heat mat, but also maybe a climbing wall), but I wanted to get them settled into the larger space

Gonna get everything set up tomorrow for my two big guys. We’re going from a regular 20g to a 29g. I’m so excited to finally be able to add in the things I couldn’t before, like a wheel and stuff, and also be able to give them more space to walk around. Can’t wait!
(P.S. I can’t upgrade to a larger tank currently, although I would love to and 100% plan to in the future. This is a 20 gallon.)

1 down, one to go!
My crabs are molting right now and I have isopods in my tank, are they (the crabs) going to be ok? They have 10 inches of substrate and theres two in a 20 gallon, and they are both underground right now. They aren’t near any walls, so I can’t see them, and this is my first molt with them and I’m kind of freaking out. They are around 30 years old or so, about the size of my palm.
Yes, it’s the freaking white tape roll on a string.
He stood like this for 5 minutes just staring
Can I take them out to put more? As I’m sure you guys can tell, I have way too little sand in there rn
(Cork wood is up so that they don’t crawl and possibly get stuck inside. This has so far deterred them from using the smaller hole as a hide, and usually chill out either directly on top or at the space at the bottom)
