HOT TAKE: Luffy needs to be reckless

  • Luffy to not be reckless and endanger his crew, he would have to be calm and collected and calculating, while this is a much more responsible option he should be doing, that would involve being patient slowly building, and avoiding dangerous arcs and tasks
  • without taking down guys like crocodile, he does not get better haki or progress in power
  • if he is not taking risks, and avoiding danger, someone like blackbeard will be farther ahead
  • don't forget shanks, law, kidd, etc, which means he cannot afford to sit around and wait for the opportunity
  • law is often cited for being calculating, but even him and luffy planned to go after doffy and big mom, and kaido when they were not close to ready, except sort of for doffy

The Final War needs to really look like this

When people were first talking about the Kaido fight, I used to think it went like this, everyone trying to fight him at once, but he oneshots some people and takes a little longer with other guys, but they need to pull the trigger on it with Imu, it would be so fire
