Pay rate this season?

Hi everyone! I hope this post doesn't turn into an argument or draw out nasty comments...can you please comment with what you teach, how many years experience you have, your location and what hourly pay rate (use a range if you want) you're requesting this season?

I'll start! 15 yrs experience, teach all age groups, and 5 subjects in Houston, TX...requesting $45-55/hr.

Let's hear it!

Crumbl cookies demands tips now?

Maybe this is not new to some you, but it was to me! I went in yesterday, nobody greeted me. Nobody asked me if they could help or explain their promos. We ordered a 6 pack from the self service kiosk and the checkout included a tip screen. For what?! Oh, and the tips started at 25%. I clicked "other" and tried to put in a zero. It wouldn't let me! I HAD to put in a number other than zero. I felt like leaving 1 penny was overkill in the jerk department and I didn't have my order yet. I left $1 (I know, some are gonna say I am in the wrong sub!). But, I felt forced to do it! Our order was handed to us by a staff member who wouldn't make eye contact or say thank you for our purchase. I will never go back there. Yes, I sent this story to corporate, and included pictures of how dirty their floors and countertops are that should be maintained by their "hardworking employees who deserve tips."

They need to do estate planning, but won't listen to us kids

My in laws (LA) and my parents (FL) need to get some education on estate planning. I think, considering their assets, a trust should be set up. They are open to it, but haven't made any effort to really look into it. I know if we push the issue, they'll stall even longer. They still see us as kids sometimes, even though we're grown with our own teenagers! I am seriously considering signing them onto mailing lists that will start sending them information on setting up trusts! Has anyone ever done that and can tell me what you did? We are not expecting inheritance, we just want their deaths to not cost us a lot of money, peace, or sanity.
