Box requirement

What do yall do when you scan the customer’s return requires a separate box?

At my site, we really just do our own thing. Most turn customers away and have them return with a box. I do the same depending on how I’m feeling that day, how busy we are and if I am working solo.

Sometimes I don’t feel like arguing going back and forth with the customer, so I just grab a box from recycling and throw their crap in it. Other times I have the customer scroll down to the screen where it says box required and send them on their way.

I know there is a standard procedure for this, but we all know we do our own thing based on given factors.

Uber Pet

I need to take my dog to his vet appointment later this week and wanted to use Uber to get there and back home. I’m curious about anything I should know before requesting an Uber Pet ride. From what I’ve read, the app doesn’t really make it obvious to drivers that a rider has a pet. So, once a driver picks up my ride request, I’ll message them to confirm I am bringing my dog. What about tipping? The trip is about 7.5 miles, 20 minutes with usual traffic. I was thinking $10-$15. My pup is a 23 pound mini schnauzer. Pretty chill, may want to say hi to the driver. Would definitely want to stick his head out the window, but I can distract him with snacks, etc during the ride. I included a picture of him for tax.
