Is it worth it to trade a Legion go S steam Os Z1 extreme for an Asus Tuff gaming rtx 4080 and a Psu?

I just got a really good offer for an Rtx 4080 and want to use it alongside my One player x1 pro however i don't know how to navigate the eGpu market and need some help to find the best eGpu i can get for this combo at a reasonable price. Anything i should be looking for? I see a lot of people mentioning Oculink so that would be preferable as well. I just need to be pointed towards the right direction, thanks!
