The Cottagers were down 2-0 at half, with Bow Jackson opening the scoring before Charlotte Whitmore gave Exeter an additional goal in the final minutes of the half. However a goal by Charlotte Whitmore in the 61st put them on the board. Unfortunately it wasn't enough as Exeter held on for the win that gave Fulham their first FA WNL/FA WPL defeat since 2010, when they lost 3-0 to Reading in the FA WPL South prior to folding.
