Trying to solve daily office meals for teams, would love inputs

Trying to solve daily office meals for teams, would love inputs

Working on a startup idea around daily meals for teams.

The core problem: food for teams is still very unstructured lots of dependency on apps, inconsistent vendors, and no real “system” in place.

Exploring a model focused on:

  • consistent menus
  • reliable delivery
  • built for teams, not individuals

Before going deeper, wanted to understand
what’s the biggest pain point you’ve faced managing team meals?

Building a reliable daily meal solution for teams in Bangalore

We’ve been working on a problem that most teams quietly deal with — inconsistent daily office meals.

From missed deliveries to repetitive menus and quality issues, it adds up.

So we started building Currice Daily — focused on:

  • consistent quality
  • simple, reliable meals
  • built specifically for teams (not just individuals ordering randomly)

Early days, but the idea is to make workplace dining feel predictable and hassle-free.

Curious — how are teams here currently managing daily meals? In-house, vendors, or apps like Swiggy/Zomato?

Been seeing a lot of “build your own bowl” concepts, but most of them are salads or international stuff.

Got me thinking why isn’t there a proper Indian version of this?
Like choosing your rice + curry combos and building your own comfort bowl.

Feels like it could work really well here given how much we love rice + curry combos anyway.

Would you try something like this?

Bringing live street food style counters to weddings and celebrations chaat stations, regional favorites, interactive food setups and more.

Wanted to share this concept here since this sub appreciates interesting food experiences too. Happy to hear what dishes people would love at a wedding food street setup.

A warm bowl of Bisibelebath at ₹69 on the menu right now at Currice.

Simple, comforting and made to feel like proper old-school comfort food.
Sharing here since this sub appreciates underrated finds.

Idk if it’s just me but Bangalore has so many meetups and community events… but food at most of them feels super basic or just an afterthought.

recently went to one where the food setup itself became part of the social vibe, people hanging around counters, chatting, trying stuff together, and it felt way more fun than the usual grab food and sit model.

made me think… we have a lot of meetups in blr, but not enough good food experiences built into them.

do people care about this or am I overthinking it? would love to hear if others have felt this too.
