Moving to Bangalore Soon to Build a Startup, Looking to Connect With Fellow Builders

Hey everyone,

I’m moving to Bangalore soon and building Zateway, a payments infrastructure startup.

I’m looking to connect with developers, designers, marketers, founders, and ambitious people who enjoy building products from scratch.

I’m not hiring traditional salaried roles right now. My goal is to meet talented builders, learn from experienced founders, and build a strong network in Bangalore.

If you’re building something interesting or want to connect with fellow startup-minded people, drop a comment or send me a DM.

What are you currently building?

Looking for Bangalore based angel investor for my non tech start up.

Started a company from zero to something now but unable to continue without investment.

This isn’t related to computer or technology. It’s a everyday consumable organic food products. Food products that are 100% natural without any preservatives.

I have over 35 products that are in demand for health conscious people, new mothers, busy working parents, kids who leaves to school at 7 am, elderly people etc.

It’s a new startup which is been done from home as white label. Looking to upscale and sell it on E-commerce. Looking for investors who would help me begin.

The investment is low that I could manage it myself. But due to family issue I’m unable to invest myself on this business. Those who are interested can dm me. I’m open to meet and explain as well.

Looking for angel investors for a food related manufacturing company.

What we’re looking for is investors (approximately around 10 lakhs in total). However need 5 lakhs initially.

Open to meet and discuss if you’re in Bangalore.

Building "Hinge for flatmates" — would love brutal feedback before we launch

building Venn, a flatmate-matching app. Basically Hinge/Tinder mechanics, but for finding a compatible roommate instead of a date — swipe based on lifestyle compatibility (sleep schedule, cleanliness, guests, food habits, etc.) rather than "needs a room, has a room."

The flatmate problem kept coming up — everyone I know has a bad-roommate horror story, and the current options (Facebook groups, 99acres, word of mouth) are basically unfiltered classifieds. No compatibility signal at all, just "here's a room, here's a person."

We're pre-launch right now, planning to seed it hyperlocal — one or two neighborhoods in Navi Mumbai first rather than going broad.

A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on:

  1. Has anyone tried compatibility-based matching for something non-dating before — did it work, did it feel gimmicky?
  2. For a two-sided marketplace like this, how would you sequence which side to seed first?
  3. Anyone dealt with the "how do you get people to answer 15 compatibility questions before they've seen any value" problem?

How are your engineering teams handling compliance and token costs for dev-facing AI tools?

Our team raises our internal AI usage, but we have run into two major issues: a spike in our OpenAI/Anthropic API bills due to duplicate code prompts, and the lingering threat of developers accidentally pasting internal config files or database schemas into public models (especially with EU AI Act enforcement starting this summer). To address this, I am hacking together an internal streaming proxy in Node.js. The architecture serves as a gateway, sitting within our private VPC subnet, stripping credentials/PII on the fly and using Redis semantic caching to catch repetitive prompts. Before I spend my weekends turning this into production-grade NestJS middleware, I wanted to know how your organizations are handling it right now. Are you employing enterprise-level solutions like Cloudflare's gateway, or are you simply depending on ordinary corporate policies and hoping your developers do not disclose production secrets? If anyone else is dealing with this and would like to compare architectural notes, please let me know!

Which offices in India have Google-level snack and beverage perks?

I recently visited the Google office in Bangalore and was honestly surprised by the pantry. They had unlimited free snacks juices, protein bars, healthy packaged snacks, nuts, and pretty much everything you could want.
It got me wondering: which other companies in India offer similar perks? Are there any Indian startups that provide this kind of fully stocked free snack pantry for employees?
Would love to hear from people who’ve worked at companies with great office food/snack benefits.

New to entrepreneurship in Bangalore. Where do I meet founders?

Hi all,

I’m a complete beginner exploring the possibility of starting a business. I have a few ideas but no founder network yet.

Looking for startup meetups, founder networking events, entrepreneur communities, or even informal coffee chats in Bangalore where beginners are welcome.

Would appreciate any recommendations.

I got tired of “Free ATS Resume Optimizers” that become paid after 5 minutes, so I’m building my own.

https://preview.redd.it/pwsbyavckk9h1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a23713e78f7e5dea83936081dc8a1144a7e6cd4

I’ve been applying for software engineering jobs recently, and every resume tool seems to follow the same pattern:

  • Upload your resume ✅
  • Paste the job description ✅
  • See your ATS score ✅
  • “Unlock the optimized version for $29” ❌

After trying a bunch of them, I decided to build one myself.

Current workflow:

• Upload resume (PDF/DOCX)
• Paste the Job Description
• AI rewrites the resume based on the JD
• Improves ATS score
• Adds missing keywords naturally
• Shows a side-by-side comparison with the original resume
• Download the improved version

Future ideas:

  • AI suggestion fix instead of automatic changes
  • Multiple resume versions
  • Multiple Templates
  • Cover letter generator
  • Resume history
  • Job application tracker

My goal is to keep the core functionality actually free because students and job seekers shouldn’t have to pay just to tailor a resume.

I’m still in development (literally planning everything on paper 😂), so I’d love some honest feedback.

If you apply for jobs regularly:

What’s the one feature you’d absolutely want in a resume optimizer?

Men work for money to employ gorgious women at their service, isn't that how world works?

Put aside your feminist thinking and the altered opinions that you have gained from surrounding. Nobody's opinion is original, all is some simulation of collective options of your experiences. There's no individual who has his own mindset, it's all society. We are all influenced with others and in the end become what we are most influenced by.

Now justify the "title" with in mind what you read above.

I don't feel confident while on a sales call for my saas, need help

Everyone is making a saas using ai, I also did, but I made it like a serious startup with way more time to actually research and get intels on product need and market opportunity before giving a single prompt or writing a single code

But still, when on a sales call or cold dm, it feels strange of charging people for the saas, it feels like why will they even pay, even when I know they need it...

What do I do to make this go away, and pitch it without side thoughts

SAP Consultant (15 LPA) going through the worst phase — need side gig ideas to survive the next few months.

M26 Bengaluru
I’m an SAP MDG consultant earning around 15 LPA. Over the past few months, everything has hit me at once and I’m struggling to keep things together.

Here’s what happened: I lost close to ₹10L last year in trading. To cover that, I made the mistake of taking additional loans on top of my existing home and car EMIs. Then my mom got hospitalised. I’m into fitness and was planning to start Instagram reels around workouts, bodybuilding, and diet as a side gig — but I recently got hospitalised myself and doctors have told me no workouts for the next few months. So that plan is on hold.

Every month after paying EMIs, I’m left with almost nothing. The hospitalisation has made things worse financially, and I’m at a point where I can’t afford to just wait it out.

I’m not here asking for money. I just need practical suggestions for side gigs or freelance work I can do
to earn some extra income and get back on my feet.
I have skills in Sap MDG and Fitness.

Need support for my start up

I'm a college student and trying to start a jewellery brand that we sell titanium cuff bracelets, why titanium, cauze titanium is light weight and doesn't oxidise over time which ment for ever metal , so we figured out titanium has a very good market in india due to its over hyped metal by apple and aerospace industry, this really attract people buying it , titanum has a good characteristics that we can change its colours by dipping it to electrification water results in random bright colours like gold , Verity of blue , violet in some high voltage cases it turns to green which gives good visuals, durable ,light weight .

We are aiming to price it at approximately cost of 3499rs

Would anyone interested to buy it if we brand it , just for surve purpose.
