I love philosophy courses but it’s hard to do well in them sometimes, so any suggestions?

If the deadline is at 11:30 and I handed in the assignment at like 12am will I actually get a zero…the Dropbox is open until 4am too so is professor Bernier actually strict about the deadlines orrrr

Basically they said that on my OSAP application for 2025/2026 I put that I lived alone and so got paid based on that, and after I submitted an extension form for the summer they found out that I was living with my parents the entire time.

The funny part is that I did NOT put that I lived alone and I showed them that I didn’t on my OSAP application but they said that even if this is a mistake from OSAP I’m still gonna have to pay them back. They turned half of my grants to loans from that year and they didn’t overpay me shit because if they didn’t give me this money I wouldn’t even be able to pay tuition.

So basically OSAP fucked up and there’s nothing I can do

As for the money, turns out I owe a little bit less than 10k so I don’t have to pay anything rn. They did say I should probably pay a few thousands to stay on the safe side. But i eventually will have to pay the money because they added them to my student loans

It says combined in person/online and it shows that it’s in the health science centre but also it says that lectures will be delivered online (I.e. pre-recorded lectures or other posted content); class material can be accessed at any time through avenue to learn

So is it in person or online?

I got a letter in the mail saying that osap overpaid me 10k and I’m literally shaking rn I don’t have ten thousand fucking dollars to pay them. Also what does that even mean how can they claim that they overpaid me and ask for the money back when it’s their problem. I didn’t do anything. My income didn’t change and all the information I entered were correct and my course load is the same. And now they’re saying I may be restricted from receiving osap in the future. Has anyone been in this situation before and what do I do. I will contact the university but ik they won’t do anything

What do people mean when they say that taking courses in the spring and summer helps with their gpa. I was a little stupid and I took 2 courses in the spring and 2 in the summer without really thinking about it. I’m taking 3 electives and 1 mandatory course. Can I graduate with more credits than I need or no? Like if I take a full course load this upcoming year and the year after is that okay?

Ik I should’ve thought this through wayyy before but I fucked up this year and panicked so I took this many courses now over the summer to help raise my gpa.

So am I in the safe side or is there something I should do?

There’s a hold on my account because I haven’t paid my spring tuition yet because osap hasn’t even reviewed my application yet so I’m waiting on that. Because of this hold I’m not allowed to enroll in courses for the fall/winter. Has anyone been in this position before and did the university help by removing that hold since it’s literally because of osap? I’m panicking rn because my enrollment date is soon and I don’t want all the classes I wanna take to fill up

Also has anyone who submitted an osap extension in late April for example hear anything back yet or received any form of confirmation from osap?

I submitted an application for a fee waiver and got an email that I have been conditionally approved. However right after I submitted the form on the screen it showed “an error has occurred” and then it said if it happens again to contact them but idk what error happened and I got the email so I dismissed it. But then I went to support the supporting docs and under fee waiver it says no waiver on file. I don’t see the “hold” that they said would appear and idk where to submit the supporting documents like I don’t see a section for that. Can anyone help me please?
