Looking for grads that want to build a startup together

Hello everyone,

The UK graduate job market is rough right now and I think a lot of talented people are wasting their energy sending hundreds of applications when they could be building something real.

I’d love to find a group of people, developers, AI/ML engineers, sales/marketing, business, project managers, who actually want to come together and build a startup from scratch. No one leading, no pre-existing idea, just a team contributing equally based on what they’re good at.

The goal would be to get real users, real clients, real revenue. Something we can all point to and say we built that together. London/UK based would be ideal for eventual meetups but not essential.

Thanks :)

Any recent grads interested in building a startup together?

I’ve been thinking about how many talented graduates there are in the UK that are struggling to get jobs.

Instead of sending 100’s of applications, I was thinking why don’t we create a team of motivated people who want to collaborate on a real startup. The goal would be to build a real client/user base and generate revenue.

The idea is to have:
- Ambitious volunteers
- Software developers
- AI/ML engineers
- Sales/Marketing people
- Business minded people
- Project managers

What would be nice is people who would:
- Contribute equally based on their strengths
- Gain real experience
- Learn from each other
- Start gaining revenue
- Have a real impact

It would be nice if it could be UK based preferably around London ( not important) for easy collaborating and meet-ups in the future.

Would be cool if we could collaborate and create something real and contribute to its success as a team.

Thanks

Hi, idk if this is a bit silly but I have a degree in Software Engineering. I was thinking to do an apprenticeship in a similar field maybe Cloud or AI.

Would companies even consider me even though I’m overly qualified. I just like learning and the idea of learning and earning a qualification from it. And cloud and AI are something that my degree didn’t go too into so I have a foundational understanding of it but nothing to technical.
