Just wanted to give some hope to others who are seeing the message: 'We apologize, but your refund has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe.' I assume the government shutdown and recent layoffs are contributing to the wait. I didn't actually have to do anything—about 3 weeks after that delayed message appeared, I got an email saying my return was approved.

Hey all, I’m a 29 yo guy from Upstate NY. I’m working on my doctorate and taking skating lessons. I also enjoy cooking and working out (I’m fit but I’m not a gymbro, if that matters).
