Young, slightly wavy hair. genetics from my dad’s side unfortunately gave me fine hair that’s already thinning. I’ve tried many hair products for texture and volume, such as sea salt spray, texture powder, leave in conditioners, clay, gels. And although some of these products hold my hair in relatively good shape (could be better) for some time after I apply the product, the hold quickly wears off after 1-2 hours and all of a sudden mid-school day my hair is very flat, dry, and falls straight to my forehead. My hair isn’t even that long (attached picture) yet this happens inevitably. As for my daily routine, I wash my hair every morning w/ cold water, apply leave in conditioner, and air dry most of the time, then apply hair product (my hair gets oily if I don’t wash it everyday, but at the same time it gets too dry if I do so I try to just rinse my hair for most days just to make it wet).

I look forward to reading your advice about my situation and pls lmk if I should change my daily routine, or if you know any rlly strong styling products that will keep my hair textured and thick for the entire day without it making my hair dry and fall flat on my head and forehead. I’ve attached pictures of my hair and the last pic is the texture and volume I want. Thanks guys ❤️
