Hi everyone! 👋

I’m a graduate student working on a project to create a series of short, introductory economics booklets for first-year university students.

The idea is to explain basic concepts in a simple and intuitive way, using everyday examples — but I also want the covers to be visually strong and conceptual (inspired by magazines like The Economist or Bloomberg Businessweek).

I’d love to hear your ideas for cover concepts (not just aesthetics, but visual metaphors or creative directions).

What kind of visual concepts or metaphors would you suggest for these?

Open to any style — minimalist, abstract, bold, or experimental.

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone.

I'm a master's student and my advisor asked me for help writing some booklets on economics for first-year students. I'll be covering brief topics, explaining basic concepts with everyday examples. However, I'd like your opinion on what you consider the 6-8 main topics to be covered in an economics program (for example, microeconomics and macroeconomics). Thank you in advance for your help.
