Well that little bugger grew up. What a great day.

My house came with this setup and an external spigot on other side of garage wall. Myers HC-33.

1. Can I just replace pump, or is the well dead after sotting for potentially decades unused? I do extensive native and monarch gardening, so anything I can use is great. Photos are of my unit, it starts but motor is completely shot.

2. What is a good way to test if well works without attaching new pump?

3. I know nothing about any of this, who would I contact if replacing is something more than plugging and plumbing up a new unit to existing connections?

4. Can I remove this or is it better to leave setup until new pump is secured?

5. What is a good residential pump that isn't junk in a few years?
