CA mentionned that they were still in negotations about them with GW and they might add them to Dechala dlc if possible, but we never got an update on the matter.
I am also planning to add a mountain hike that leads to a secluded zipline zone.
There are two main area accessible through the Jurassic Jeep Tour and Createcous Canoes.
I also wanna get a VIP beachfront hotel zone.
They turned out to be regular infantry, they are basically Saurus Warriors but faster, more agile and have lower armor and survivability.
I like it cause Cathay already got enough Monstrous units and Cavalry but it had very slow infantry.
The steam page doesn't mention any RoR unit for the new dlc, which isn't a big deal, but I always thought the RoRs were a quick and easy way to add more content because the base unit has already been made.
Also no news yet about the flc LH coming along the dlc ?

I want to start by stating I don't care if a dlc comes a couple of months late, yes people crave new content but I would rather they take the time needed for a good product instead of a hasty release of a very buggy/bad product.
I also don't mind a delay, game making is a complex business prone to fall into all kinds of nasty halts and sudden change of plans. I really don't care if it is due to some weirdly missing Universal greenlight, or a Higher up in Frontier forcing a new approach, or them just dropping the ball.
What I don't like though, is Frontier waiting out the entire month, releasing an empty statement 6 hours before the month ends, full of corporate jargon that resolves nothing like '' oh we are exited here at Frontier but April won't see a returning species''.
That message is so worthless and out of touch because everyone and their grandmothers knew there will be no update in April since Wednesday. It would have been acceptable if they announced it on the 15th or at maximum on the 20th of April. But the end of the month is already too late for any announcement.
They also should have clarified the fate of the missing update, should we expect 2 returning species in May ? are they pairing all free returning species with dlcs ? Like no monthly releases but 3 or 4 species each time a dlc releases.
The fact that they posted that message at the last minute is an clear indicator of how they perceive and lack respect for their customers, and I have been seeing people saying ''oh it is a free species, we shouldn't be mad at something that is free''. Well i have to tell you, many people, including myself, bought the game BECAUSE Frontier announced they will bring back the missing base species, people paid for a game that will include that content, now Frontier are falling short of that bargain without having the decency of explaining/clarifying the fate of future updates.
The fact that they released it on Discord, and someone had to crop and repost it here is proof of how they don't care. They should own up and clarify on all their platforms, social media ( including Reddit ), they don't shy away from that and find the time when they are asking for pre-orders and waiting people to pay, now that they have fallen short and didn't fulfill their engagements they suddenly forget those social media platforms exist and people have to dig in discord to find any news, however worthless it may be.
I didn't buy the Wetlands dlc cause I had my doubts, and I will probably hold and wait out all future dlcs, and Oh I am not getting Planet Zoo 2 fullprice, I will wait for the inevitable -60% sale that happens a year later like I did with Planet Coaster 2 after it had an abysmal launch, that is if I ever deem PZ2 to be worth buying at all. Not gonna support this company by pre-ordering anything, a company that doesn't even care to explain to their paying customers why they are not meeting deadlines, and breaking their promises of better communication and monthly returning species at the same time.
I fully understand that plans can get changed or reshuffled in the corporate maze, and i am trying to give Frontier the benefit of the doubt by thinking they were aiming to release April's returning species, but something forced a delay on them.
It is okay if they are facing technical difficulties that they need more time to cook. They just need to tell us that there will be a change of plans.
Not everyone is going to be happy, I know, but at least the reasonable people will understand that.
However, going completely silent and expecting people to behave whilst planned deadlines are not being met, waiting out the storm isn't a good indicator of community support.
Now, it is going to be too late for them to communicate in a way to save their remaining goodwill.
