I started a new game

Hey there,

I am relatively new to this game, only been playing perhaps a couple of months ish. I just entered Unity yesterday at about 90 hours, and I don't know how to feel. I found it hard to get as immersed. I hadn't done the Vanguard quests yet, and even just trying to do minor quests felt ... weird. Like I'm a cosmic being and it all felt a bit trivial.

I also miss the tension, and having the powers and elite gear kind of took that away. It all felt a little empty.

So I started again. I'm ready to re-immerse myself. I don't want to do the main quest, I want to experience the galaxy as a human being. And I'm excited to do the DLC (haven't started them yet)

Has anyone else experienced this?

I salute you.

I was on a hot streak, finally about to crack Masterball, and I thought I had that game won. It was down to my full HP Aerodactyl vs your almost-full HP Galarian Slowking. I had seen 3 of his attacks - Trick, Snowscape, Slack off... and figured I could just Rock Slide my way to victory. The first rock slide hits, and you command Slowking to use Toxic. Ok, I can do this with a couple of lucky flinches or a crit. The next rockslide flinches, and the one after crits & flinches... It's so close. I just need another flinch and then Aerodactyl can finish the job next turn.

But alas, it was not meant to be. Aerodactyl missed, and when Slowking Slacked off I felt my dreams of hitting Masterball slacken also.

I hope that, similarly, that battle was your ticket to Masterball. Congratulations - I'll see you there sometime soon.
