This is how the cat popsicles turned out

How am I meant to remove the popsicles once they are frozen in the molds?

The three piece squares aren't joined together yet. The lighter wood is oak, medium colored wood is teak, and the dark wood is walnut. I'm thinking that a border will help hold it all in place, as well as bring it together aesthetically. Any opinions on what wood to use for the border?
