Tree Fell on car - hows it looking?

2017 Volvo S90 T6. Tree fell on it recently and smashed it up pretty badly. I submitted an insurance claim and just received back an estimate to repair of $8,100.

Parts $ 3800

Labor $4000

Does this look like something that is repairable? Not sure how they will get microscopic glass out from the interior + repair the smashed A Frame.

January alps location advicd

Hi everyone,

Trying to pick out a location in the Austrian or French Alps for January 2027.

  • 3 skiiers - ranging from beginner to advanced
  • Will be staying at the town for 1 week
  • Would like a ski town that is an actual town so the beginner can do things such as a sauna or thermal spa since he won't ski each day
  • Currently thinking courchevel 1550 or somewhere in Austria around Zell Am See/Saalbach.

Would prefer to ski in val thorens/la plagne, however my other ski buddies on the trip are worried that there won't be much to do outside of skiing at the French purpose built resorts.
