It looks like Google's preparing a massive kernel upgrade for almost every Tensor-powered Pixel device, once again!

Let's get straight to the details:

Pixel 7 / 8 / 9 series:

6.1-android14 -> 6.12-android16

Pixel 10 series:

6.6-android15 -> 6.12-android16

Yes, as you probably noticed, the Pixel 6 isn't on the list and very likely won't get the upgrade due to its EOL this October 🥀.

Google did a similar thing in 2024, upgrading the kernel across Tensor-powered Pixels with Android 15 QPR2.

Do you think it's worth the effort? Or should Google have given the Pixel 6 one last upgrade?
