Best way for family of 11 to travel around London?

Hopefully this is specific enough because I have been recommended to outright just get two Black Cabs to maximize ease of travel and that the typically high extra cost of a Black Cab is mitigated somewhat by filling them up with people.

This is all for travel within the inner boroughs K&C, City of London, Westminster etc. but with a sizable group that includes a few children around 9-10 that it would be worth the extra 20-30 USD a day to go that route versus an Uber or the Tube.

The itinerary is generally going to an area via transport and then staying there all day until we need/want to take go home later in the evening.

So in this scenario a few specific questions:

  1. Is there a best most cost effective way to get Black Cabs?

  2. Is it easy to get Uber XLs as an alternative?

  3. Getting to our location is very time sensitive but home not so much. Would it be reasonable to use City Mapper and just tube home after 9PM? Any safety concerns at that time?

Thanks a bunch in advance for any thoughts on this.

Phasmophobia x Alan Wake 2 - Launch Trailer

Goddammit I have no business playing this game but I love Alan Wake and also love yet another VR game getting so much support. May have to pick it up.

FNaF: Secret of the Mimic Went Flatscreen Before VR Due To Poor Help Wanted 2 Sales

Not surprising but a really good insight to how a studio hopefully made a good decision to stay in business while still ultimately serving the fanbase they clearly appreciate.

So I remember there were a ton of content packs available on 2020 and heard similar was on 2024. In the store there's a weird list of content packs that are numbered but incomplete. On top of that they don't appear to actually download content in some cases (California for example).

Anyone know the stategy of DLC for the PS5 version? I'm not sure the PS5 could even handle high detail versions of cities but it would be great to know if stuff like Jurassic Park DLC and other ORBX stuff comes to PS5 as well.

So I plan to play this exclusively in VR but broke down and did the first career mission flat to see if tutorial cues were happening and they in fact were in flat and nowhere to be seen in VR. Anyone else seeing this and is there a way to correct it?

The other question is if the flat version has a 60FPS mode for Pro? Kinda crazy the VR version even if frame doubling feels a lot smoother than flat. Didn't know if there were performance options I'm missing because I've only played VR so far.

I asked this in travel London and someone rightly suggested this may be a better place for this question. We will be in London traveling from the United States in June. My two teenage boys are both sneakerheads (trainers over there?) and I've been introduced to the world of limited colorways and editions, etc. I think if they could pick any souveneir from London it would be shoes that are difficult to get in the United States either because they are a brand not typically available in the US or because there were UK exclusive colorways.

I wanted to ask if there were any shoe stores or brands that would fit this description. We will be in London for 8 days all over so we are hitting many shopping districts and boroughs. Soho was highlighted and we're there a solid day or so for other shopping plans.

Any advice is much appreciated because Google hasn't helped me much so far. The budget is around 200 but can go to 300 if there is really something special to go after.

For those who were wondering about the state of the final release I'd figure I'd throw out a couple of impressions:

-I was suprised at the small install so the data streaming thing is for real. I have a very high quality connection and it loads very quickly so the technology is quite impressive in that way.

-Playing with a Dualshock seems great but I tried to play the first career mission and it was a nightmare. I figured I would get clear popups telling me what actions to take and control onboarding. If that was supposed to happen it didn't. I looked up how to start the engine but I can't tell if the experience is broken in VR or just plain bad.

-It's kinda hard to be mad at the marvel of the technology. It takes a sizable resolution hit but it's keeping most of the complex rendering techniques going (clouds, lighting, etc.). The cockpits are crazy detailed.

-It's rendering infinitely more detail than GT7 so expecting it to maintain a comparable level of resolution is just unreasonable.

-Being the complete game (platform) clearly means you have just an impossible amount of content. While there's plenty of chill activities in the game I still feel the games value resides in the sim side where there is obviously another unparalleled amount of detail.

My family and I are traveling to London and Bath for two weeks from the States and my teenage boys are kind of sneakerheads and have a mild interest in fashion as well. I've tried to research unique UK brands as well as UK exclusive colorways for shoes but I'm pretty lost.

Maybe in the age of the internet there's no point of regional brands but I'd love to take them to a store that sells shoes not typically available in the United States. While I will entertain luxury brands there's still a budget so I'd like to stay in 200-300 dollar range for items. We will all over London throughout the week so many places may work (Soho,Westminster,Kensington, Mayfair, Marlylebone, with a bit of time over in Spitalfield and Bricklane. Not making it over to Chelsea, Notting Hill, or Shoreditch if that helps.

Thanks in advance to any education someone can provide on cool shops that may need to go on the itinerary.

I'll be honest, the total lack of Sony building hype on this stuff like MSFS and this update is both so sad and totally unsurprising. Looking forward to impressions though I may just snag this one if I find time soon.
