Length of installation in kentucky

Hello, I am going to be applying for my IID in kentucky when I am convicted in June for a first offense DUI with aggravating factors (high BAC and minor accident)

I was just wondering if anyone else in kentucky could provide a time frame of the length of their installation? I have read online that the 6 month lisence suspension can be reduced to 4 months with an IID with no violations for 90 days. Does that mean you are only required to have the device installed for 4 months if you go violation free?

Thank you for any information, I have been trying to do research online but have found some conflicting answers

First DUI charge, worried about civil lawsuit

I was arrested for my first DUI charge, I have had a clean record up to this point but blew an extremely high amount .26 BAC and was in an accident. The damage to the other car was low, with a dent in their back bumper. After speaking with insurance they stated that they are likely able to cover all costs (the other party was able to drive away from the scene) and no injuries on either side.

The shame and regret I feel from my choices and doing this to another person is still present and will be for a long time, but I am also worried about facing a civil lawsuit following my criminal conviction. I know what I am likely looking at on the criminal punishment side of things thanks to my lawyer explaining everything, but am still worried about lawsuits that may follow. Due to the circumstances of there being no injuries and damages that will be covered by insurance, what is the likelihood of facing civil lawsuits? What will the punitive damages likely look like?

I apologize, I know this is not a legal advice subreddit, but I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what happened to them. Thank you.
