Logged about 6 hours on the game so far & i’m struggling to understand HOW TF TO FINISH THIS DEX?! what’s the strategy? do you just catch everything you see along the way? i feel like my team gets wiped out so easily & the alphas that appear are like 15-20 levels higher. do i come back for those or just leave them be? please advise how you completed the task for getting arceus because right now it feels a bit impossible. the game is amazing so far, but i have my eyes set on the end goal, its just feeing a bit unobtainable at the moment.

I’ve been battling w myself a bit with these newer games (Gen 7 and onward). I’ve played all the prior ones so many times & i love that i’m familiar w all the mons, the stories, what levels your team should be at, etc. My problem is i feel like i don’t want to have to learn a bunch of new dexs, find out a good team to use and all that. I don’t live the unfamiliarity, but am i just being an idiot? Sounds like i just need to suck it up & buy one of them. That being said, should I start with Sun/Moon? My OCD tells me go in order. Convince me here guys, should I set the goal to play all the new games through? Perhaps 3 runs w/ a different starter each time for the reps? Show me your favorite teams for these games while you’re at it! Share whatever you’d like.
