David Lynch, a major influence on Be Sweet To Me, died during the making of the album. Violet wrote ethereal Lynchian ballad 'What's Heaven Without You' in his honor and released it on his would-be 79th birthday.

I really think 'last day I loved you' sounds like a Garbage song (in the good way)

I love Swallowtail. It's a rare vinyl-exclusive song that Violet released for RSD, but I wish it was on her album.

Violet posted this on her IG story yesterday. What are the odds Shane Hawkins makes a guest appearance at one of her shows?

What was the best song off the new album to you?
For me I think Cool Buzz remains my favorite since I first heard it as a single (plus that awesome music video) because it's so fun, but Mobile Star really grew on me since release. I'm not usually a slow song person, but the beautiful layers of it keep me coming back. It's like there's always a new chime or synth line that I notice each time.
