I would love to credit the person but I can’t find the video anymore. If the left side of your keyboard stops sometimes, or just not at all for minutes at a time or just in combination, power off your Laptop completely (there’s guides online for your specific device) or else you might damage connectors or something. Find the connector to your keyboard, unplug it and clean its contacts thoroughly with an eraser. Voilà. If it still didn’t work, my condolences. Try again or replace the entire keyboard my friend.

There’s surprisingly little information to this trick out there. So before throwing away money, PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF LOVE, try this first!

Low budget fix?

The brother of the previous owner sat on it, breaking the hinges holding the screen. It bends 20° solely by air. It works but it’s annoying and the plastic keeps popping off while the hinge works itself INTO the screen if not bent properly. What would you do? 🏂
