US born Citizen, Visa taking AGES

Hello, I am an American citizen born here, and studied in the UK last year on a student visa.

This year I applied for my student visa for the next 2 years on July 8th, and did my biometrics on July 23rd. It is now August 19th meaning it has been 19 working days since the biometrics submission, and I haven’t been given a decision nor an email telling me it will be later than usual.

Last year I received my visa approval decision actually in 19 working days, and even got an email noting it would take longer than usual after 15 working days which hasn’t happened this year as I said.

I’d also like to note that UKVI sent me an email on August 14th asking me to take a survey on my experience, don’t know if that connects to anything or means anything.

Very worried, if anyone is experiencing similar or knows what could be going on PLEASE lmk. 😁

“no acute testicular abnormality”

hello around a month ago when i noticed a 2mm lump and had an ultrasound the doctors did not seem worried whatsoever, and said it’s probably a cyst and that i had a hydrocele on that testicle as well. the 2mm object was extratesticular and it was reported that there was “no acute testicular abnormality”. i would also like to note that the radiologist gave me the results nearly an hour after the ultrasound was performed. just wondering the meaning of that phrase, im chilling right?

weird line on left testicle probably vein but idk

hey, so basically on june 7 i noticed a 2mm lump on my left testicle, had an ultrasound and the doctor said there’s no abnormalities and that this was likely a cyst and that i also had a left sided hydrocele.

fast forward to around july 10 i hadn’t touched that area since and the lump was actually gone, but right around where i thought it was i found this line that starts thin, is thicker further down which starts right before the epididymis head and it’s directly right next to it, curving down around where the epididymis body curves down. keep it mind this is only on my left testicle and it is perfectly smooth and isn’t very hard, though i’m not completely sure if it’s moveable or not. i’m saying it’s likely a more obvious vein that is pretty embedded in the skin. this is due to is location and the shape and texture/density of it, and that it becomes difficult to feel since it seemingly merged into the group of veins that run with the body of the epididymis, so the length isn’t known for sure. also the fact that it’s in the tunica region would mean that if it were to be a tumor, it would have had to become big enough to breach the outer tunica wall, and surely something would’ve been noticed on my ultrasound just a month ago. no pain either which further makes me feel it can’t be a tumor since a breach of the tunica wall would result in some pain at some point. when i just wake up it feels less noticeable, though as the day goes on and especially if i’m sweating or during and after shower it is much more noticeable.

again i dont feel much like this could be something to be worried about, especially due to its shape/size/smoothness and what i just said. also a breach of the tunica wall would likely alter the shape or size or density of the testicle itself which has not happened. likely only noticed it due to increased attention on the area in june but my anxiety just likes to tell me “how did i not notice this if i was checking the area so much?”

in the picture below i drew it (the black line)

19 year old found small painful lump

Two days ago I felt a minor pain in my testicles and decided to do the usual check to see if anything was wrong. I found a small lump near top of my lefty around the size of a bb or less (probably like 0.3cm). It feels hard and I don’t think it moves at all when I push on it, and the pain is localized to it and hurts more when it’s messed with (kind of like being kicked in the nuts but 10x less that pain). I have anxiety so naturally this is a nightmare situation and I’ve been losing sleep over it, but I talked to my mom about it and we plan to call the urologist on Monday. Should I be worried?? I’m 19 and no family history of any cancers at all on either side. I work out 5 days a week and spend most of my time outside, significantly healthy and more in shape than almost everyone my age, so this is a shock to me as well.
