Based off the bachman one that's based off the cancelled cgi series one

This is my made up thomas wooden railway board game called "death battle" where players have to battle to the death to be the last one standing how it works is you get 2-10 engines/players and place them on the layout. Roll a die that determines how many spaces an engine moves, the engines go in alphabetical order (billy flying scotsman diesel 10 etc.) if you touch the ground you're eliminated, if you're engine falls but you're rolling stock doesn't touch you're still in. Players can choose to skip moving spots in favor of removing risers, however you can't remove a riser and engine or there rolling stock is standing on

You can create alliances to target other players and team up (ex billy and thomas team up to eliminate flying scotsman by removing a riser and then thomas pushes flyingscotsman off. Whenever an engine is eliminated they have to give up there rolling stock to who they were eliminated to, which makes them safer. Eliminated players have opportunity to ruin the chances of someone winning as they have the option to either remove a track piece/riser, skip a players turn of there choosing. Or place a roadway character on the track in front of them that they have to try to get rid of . Last engine standing wins!

So a few posts ago i was talking about the new life and load set i got off FB marketplace, for 60$ i started disasemabling it so i could use the pieces individually and it was a hellish process, i had to pry off so many nails off the board and it used all my strengh, my hands and arms hurt while im typing this, but it was worth it because i found a new discovery nobody on the internet has talked about.the display table has different way of securing the items to the board, notably, the elavated track foundation risers have screw holes at the top and have wooden blocks at the bottom, this pisses me off because the original version doesnt do that when it easily could have. this random curve has a sticker with an arrow facing right. the acesending track's traction rail design isnt printed on the side its not supposed to be facing when its double printed on the normal acesending pieces. this is really odd and i hope more people talk about this

i got this on FB Marketplace for 60$ USD it didnt come with any of the engines or acessories from the original set and everything is bolted/screwed/glued down except the Grain Loader, which was glued down but the glue must've not been strong enough because it cleanly comes off the playboard. i added all that its really cool espacially because the original set retailed for 400$ USD any thoughts?

Wooden railway loves to do gimmicky stuff, missed oppurtunity to cash in on any of the circus stuff from thomas and the circus! yeah they made the circus train but that was in like 1998/1999 bachman, take along and trackmaster literally all made these, these were made from the Mattel Unpainted Boxcars which i got a lot of 5 from ebay, i wanna get more but this is good for now, i love the unpainted items.

ive never liked how the wooden railway tender engines have dinky tenders with a maximum of four wheels it feels very limiting and lame. Sam is the worst offender in my opinion, the largest thomas and friends character with 34 wheels only has a maximum of...12 wheels, so i brought it up to 14, which isnt a huge difference but it really looks like it. sams wooden toy is dissapointing in my opinion because it just looks like every other tender engine, but atleast making the tender longer would've changed things so much. sams tender was made from a busy as a bee james tender, thumpers wooden railway cab, and thomas chasis,

i keep taking wooden railway items i recently get everywhere with me, inculding outside. so far i have this werid obsession with taking them to playgrounds, so far ive done it with Seabound Thomas, 2016 Bertram, Logan and Busy As A Bee James, i keep sliding them down sldies, putting them on horizontal poles and use it as a bridge. maybe im just autistic idk. but also, i feel a sort of nostalgia from this, a sunny day with a new wooden railway toy makes me so fuzzy and nostalgic inside
