Does my betta has Dropsy?

Hi everyone! Could you please help me check if my betta has dropsy? I’m really worried.

I usually feed my betta twice a day. Before I go out, I feed him 2-3 micro pellets, and when I get home, I feed him 4-5 micro pellets and add a few specks of dried daphnia and dried mysis.

However, these few days, I’ve noticed that he’s becoming a bit more lethargic. He’s still excited for food, but when I’m not feeding him, he tends to rest near the surface or at the bottom near the plants more than usual. He’s also stopped building his bubble nest for quite some time. I thought he was getting old🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Today, I really inspected him and noticed that at some angles, his belly is a bit round, and the scales aren’t a smooth line. I’m wondering if he might be pineconing. Just now, I got him to flare for a few seconds, and a big round poop dropped out. I’m worried that there’s something wrong.

I just ordered Seachem Kanaplex and Epsom salt, which will be delivered in two days. However, I’m unsure where to use the medication or if I even need to. Could you please help me determine if he really has dropsy and if I should use the medication?

Betta Using Indian Almond Leaf as Hammock! 🍂🥹😍

So cute! Just did a weekly water change for my betta and added one Indian almond leaf! He is literally using it like a hammock instantly! He swims off the leaf after a while and then comes back and rest on it after swimming. 🤭

This is so cute!!! Glad to see him have a bit more enrichment inside a small tank. I love my betta!! He is literally a water puppy 🤣
