Help: Marina Del Rey vs Mar Vista apartment decision?

We are a bf/gf, 25 year old couple with a dog moving down to LA for the first time… we’ve come down to two options:

Pearl Apartments:
- Marina Del Rey
- after 2 month free promo, 2295 per month.

Mitchell Arms Apartment:
- Mar vista
- after move in credit, 2100 per month

Anyone have thoughts on these apartments/areas and what might be best for us? We love the walkability of Pearl but have seen some negative reviews about Mold… less reviews on Mitchell Arms, but it’s much more suburban and doesn’t offer that walkable beach area.

Thoughts? Help? Need a 3rd party because I like Mar Vista, gf likes Marina Del Rey…

Apartment Search Trip! Any recs for specific complexes to look at?

Hi! I'm relocating to Los Angeles and have a 4 day trip to tour apartments. I'm looking for recommendations of specific apartments to look at. If you've had a great experience with a place or know someone that did, let me know!

I'll be working in Playa Vista and have been specifically targeting Palms, Culver City, and Mar Vista, but willing to look elsewhere if recommended!

Anything under $3k works well for my budget.

More personal context:

- Mid 20s

- Living w/ Dog and GF

- Work in office 3-4 days per week

- love restaurants, bars, social stuff, getting outdoors and active... typical mid 20s no kids stuff.

TIA!

Need Rent Recommendations for a Quick Move

Hi! I have a job opportunity down in the Playa Vista area and the move is pretty short notice for when I'm expected to be in office.

Any recommendations for where to look, specific apartments/neighborhoods, etc? A little stressed lol.

More context:

- mid 20s

- have a dog and girlfriend coming with me

- looking for 1 bedroom

- my budget is 2300 MAX and would prefer lower.

- we are social, enjoy bars and restaurants nearby. Walkable if possible. These are definitely preferences and not requirements.
