This UPS is driving me crazy

I recently bought an Eaton Ellipse ECO 1200, thinking it would fit perfectly inside my 10-inch rack. Unfortunately, it doesn’t.

Looking back, I probably should’ve gone for the ECO 600 instead of the 1200. Now I’m not really sure what to do with it.

My original plan was to keep everything neatly organized inside the rack, so having the UPS sitting underneath or next to it isn’t exactly what I had in mind. It just looks a bit awkward to me.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there any UPS models available in Europe that actually fit inside a 10-inch rack?

I’d really prefer to keep everything inside the rack rather than having the UPS outside.
What would you guys do in my situation?

How difficult is KCNA certification?

I’m a software engineer with 3 years of experience. I’ve always written code, but now I want to learn K8s. I only have one cloud certification: the AWS CCP.

I don’t have much experience with K8s. I know the basic concepts—clusters, pods, high availability, the difference between deployments, services, ingresses, etc, and a few kubectl commands. I’ve set up a k3s cluster in my homelab.

I want to study using the Kodekloud platform.

Is there a big gap I need to bridge to earn this certification? Thanks!

E-Waste server, I finally have everything (almost)

I ordered EVERYTHING secondhand (except for the rack, patch panel, and keystones). I bought crimping tools, cables, PCs, switches, PDUs, and everything else used. I spent relatively little.

I can’t wait to set it up and use it as a k3s cluster. As soon as I’m done, I’ll post a more detailed breakdown of each component and how much it costs to assemble a mini rack.

Would you recommend upgrading from the Saguaro to VFFs?

I’ve been using the Saguaro with toe socks (to simulate the VFF effect) for a year now, exclusively at the gym.

But now I’d like to upgrade to VFFs and wear them every day, even at the office or on long walks with the goal of getting a better feel for the ground.

I don’t run, but I take about 10k steps a day, which VFFs do you recommend? I’m interested in the Roadround 2, but maybe they’re a little too thick, what do you think?

Does it make sense to switch from Saguaro to VFFs?
