Know anyone who resign O to E just to join ANG?

Not me, but I’m just wondering if anybody actually resigned their officer position to go enlisted so they can join the air National Guard.

It’s something I heard a lot in Reddit, but not much discussed about. If you do, why did you do that?

Please be civil too. I know it might not be common or might not be a smart choice but I’m just very curious about the reasoning why someone would :) thank you!
