Struggling

So I joined burn in January because I liked the camp style workouts. For somebody who was coming from having absolutely no physical Fitness and needing to be shown and told how to work out being able to just show up somewhere and being told what to do worked really well for me.But my goal is to bulk and build a lot of muscle. I actually want to be able to do unassisted pull ups. I feel like burn is kind of getting in the way of that goal because I’m struggling in the time constraints to find a weight that is going to progress me to the next stage of failure and be able to do the reps that I feel are appropriate in the structure. I feel like I have to supplement my burn workouts with more gym time either at my apartment or at another gym that isn’t a camp style. That being said I still sit and spin sometimes when I’m at the gym on my own. Anybody else struggling with burn if your goal isn’t weight loss? Maybe I need a one on one personal trainer.

Anybody have any tips or review to share on the pilot mountain route mountain trail to grindstone to ledge spring trail? I want to potentially go this weekend but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Some say it’s crazy hard and doesn’t have great views. Some say it’s moderate. I don’t trust all trails. It looks like the route maybe about 11 miles round trip.

Anybody that has done it share your wisdom por favor. I huff n puff on the initial incline going up hanging rock. The scramble is fine but the incline right as you come off the paved part for hanging rock I usually have to stop at least once to give my hammys a break.
