Looking for insight into Elements of Madison

HELLOOOOOO so I'm making moves to move out either in January or late spring next year (first apartment yay!). I wanted to know if anyone here has lived in elements and can provide information on what it's like there. It's my top pick right now due to the rent price and location to where I work and my parents home. I'm not really looking to be talked out of it since I've kind of made up my mind, But I'll consider Charleston oaks or windscape as well. I just need this exact area lmao.

Like any bugs? Any concerning behavior from staff? Etc. Anything at all!

Friends For Life conference chockful of ai

I went to the FFL conference in Orlando this past week and was shocked by how much ai was everywhere.

I arrive at the hotel the day before and go have fun in Orlando, I go to registration and receive a program. Ai images. I go to a sugar pixel panel with a raffle bc I know it would help my brother (t1d). The sugar pixel guy uses ai to make characters for his new bigger sugarpixel, the Sugarpixel+. The juicebox podcast guy makes ai music and it's shit lmao.

Listen. He (sugarpixel man) seemed like a bubbly and funny man, he was doing giveaways left and right. But then a person gave feedback that it's hurtful that they're doing this giveaway while they don't care to pay artists. And I can't recount word for word what he said, but the general idea was that "Im an artist, I'm a graphic designer, I wanted to use human artists and they quoted me very high prices to make commercial images and I'd rather use ai than pay that much". I'm sorry dude, commercial art is very different than personal use. It's gonna be more expensive. You surely make enough money with your company to pay for the rights to something after getting a commission. But what do I know. I've only bought personal use commissions of my OCS before.

But back to the conference as a whole, a lot of images in the program booklet were also ai, they used ai images for the cowboy imagery on the screens around the conference, it was very obvious. But no one was really saying anything about it? I mean, maybe they did. I didn't hang out in the young adult talks, I only really went to the general ones, so maybe it was discussed In there by some people. Anyway. Wanted to voice my displeasure.

▲ 1 r/land

Hello all, sorry if this isn't the right place to be posting.

My grandparents live around central Alabama currently and are increasingly having more and more health problems and can't live so far from people anymore. They have about 33.5 acres, about 10 of which is cleared for farm land. And the rest is wooded, there's a mobile home hook up, a barn, a field, and a farm house (which is also a mobile home that's been built on lol)

My grandma is pissy any time I offer to find a realtor/an agent bc she hates them lol, but she wants to "sell in NYC" or somewhere outside of the state?? I told her that probably isn't something I can just pick and choose but ofc she's stubborn. I'm not sure what to do here? In classic old woman fashion she's placed this on me and my family to handle if we want them to move closer to us.

Does anyone have any estimations ? Any advice on what to be looking for ? I have literally no clue what I'm doing with this.
