Leaving for a new job, should I stay?

Hello all my fellow Panera bread people!

I’m a team manager, been a team manager for about 2 years now. A new opportunity has come up and I’m thinking about leaving my job. It’d be a pretty decent raise but a little bit of a farther drive.( for reference I live four minutes away from my Panera bread and this new job is about 25 minutes away.) obviously my staff is really upset that I’m leaving and so is the HR department and the higher managers as well.

HR is doing the normal stuff trying to get me to stay, but I’m kind of excited to take a new risk. I think I’m just scared that if I mess up or something or if the new job doesn’t work out , I wouldn’t have a place back. My new job won’t let me allow my two weeks as they wanna hire me as quick as possible. Just kind of a red flag, but I’m confident though find a new place.

I think I’m just kind of looking for advice from people who’ve done the same whether you be a staff member or a manager, taking a risk and seeing if it worked out or not. My girlfriend is really excited for me to start this position and so is my family but they’re telling me to really think it over anyways thank you for letting me know.

New start/ what to expect coming from a stable job

Hello!

I’m at a bit of a crossroads right now. I just got hired at Apple! As a sales specialist, my friends and family are excited for me and I’m nervous and excited to start my career at Apple. I’ve heard mixed things about working there and I’m coming from a pretty stable job as a team manager at Panera bread.

My question is, is this leap of faith worth it? Have you all had a good experience? This would be my first time back at a sales position in a long time. Panera bread treats me pretty well, but I’ve had some bad experiences as a manager. I’ve had no flexibility with calling off and some of my vacation time hasn’t been the best as a part-time manager as well I get no benefits. The pay would be a really nice increase too as I’m making 17.50 now and the jump is 22.00

Let me know your experience of working at Apple so I can make a better judgment thank you!
