Powdery mildew?

I have this weird almost fuzzy substance on my Scarlet Spire apple tree. I just planted it a few days ago. I can scratch it off with my fingernail. Is this mildew or what? Should i be worried or buy a fungicide?

Planting depth.

Hello. I got this bareroot apple tree with a smaller root system than I'm happy with.

Is it okay to plant the tree deeper than where the nursery planted it?

There's like 6 inches in between the graft union and the first root. Can I plant like 3-4 inches of the rootstock trunk in the ground, leaving the union 2-3 inches above soil?

DEA raid in Millville.

Anybody hear anything about the DEA raid in Millville? It was at 1300 cedar Street. There was a bunch of swat guys at the house. And right down the street a bunch of cops in unmarked cars had a guy pulled over and had half the road closed going out to the airport.
