on most current events by default artists play their most recent music, and maybe a few biggest hits. there's also sth like VWAB, where the main theme is classic golden era hardstyle. one time I attended a smaller hardstyle event, where one of the supporting DJs played SZP Burn remix from 2017. it was absolutely amazing live, and that made me think that there should be dedicated events for the "transitional" era of hardstyle between 2016 and 2020-2021. times when PN, SZP and D-sturb just broke through to the mainstream, HHZ and DBSTF returned, Rooler sand Krowdexx still made serious Rawstyle, and more stuff like Rebelion's First Dose album.

Basically the combinations of artists that would be absolutely generational, but the already existing ones just don't live up to the potential that collab has, or their styles already changed enough to offer something completely new.
