I'm pretty good at the game, L/I, permanent dark events, etc. But realizing I know next to nothing about sparks or 99% of proving ground projects. Sparks, or suits that shoot rockets, etc

In my experience even with some great supply drops, resources are always tight, so I'm always hoarding resources, first for mag weapons, then an armor upgrade, then plasma, etc.

So by the time I can afford most of this stuff it's end game and it doesn't matter anymore anyway.

Seems it was common in medieval Europe to send one son to the army and another to the clergy. Seeing as they had no say, how did the clergy ones feel about the whole enforced celibacy thing?

My quest to do a no death run on L/I with permanent dark events, WITHOUT mimic beacons and repeaters

I've gotten close. But always at some point find myself losing 1-2 units at some point in the run.

Early on, avoiding casualties is easy. Late game, same thing.

But in that dreaded middle it feels like some maps are designed to incorporate a mimic beacon (or a healthy appetite for casualties).

Multiple pods will group together on timed missions. And they'll be meaty ones, with muttons and andromdeons.

God help you there's an archon in the mix too.

9/10 with careful and clever play you'll get through it. But every now and again you'll also need a lucky miss. And over an entire game eventually your luck will run out.

Debating giving up on this entire goal honestly.

ELI5: How does powering things work? How can coal become electricity? How can electricity travel through a wire to power a house? How can excess solar energy be transfered back to the company to be used later?
